  • Help - wind speed is no longer in kts

Overall this is a great app. After the version 6.13 update, the wind speed on tables and graphs is in mph (even though my settings are for knots). Update: Issue corrected in version 6.14. Thanks for the rapid fix!
  • Map and zoom

Latest update is really messed up - all favorites lost, zoom controls cause map to jump around the world. Requires two fingers to zoom in but jumps back to prezoom intermittently. Is there anyway I can rollback to a previous release? Gary

Free version is better…it said it was gusting 2 and sustaining 20 knots though…It was blowing 4kts maybe.overall pretty good. I love it so much. SailFlow>windy.app
  • Latest update made it unusable

After using this app for a couple of months, I recently purchased a yearly Premium upgrade. Less than 2 weeks later an update was issued and the maps and weather stations, in my area of Alaska, don’t function correctly. Some stations don’t even show up on the map, and I can’t zoom in to an area smaller than the US. I would like to get a refund.
  • Absolutely unreliable

I have been trying to use the current and forecast map for the last week and every time multiple times a day the “current” conditions are over 8 hours in the past. In addition, even though I have the most premium paid edition, there is an ad that is triggered at the bottom of the screen while trying to get the forecast animation to play (which doesn’t). I have had to resort to using other apps to get the required information. TERRIBLE
  • Direction arrow is still wrong!

Update#2: [My comments] The developer responded, saying “ Wind direction is always reported on where the winds are coming from. [Yes, a SW wind comes FROM the SW and goes TO the NE] The arrow vectors show the direction of the flow [I.e. the arrow points TO the wind’s destination, not its origin] , they are not meant to be wind barbs. A North wind means winds are coming from the north, a conventional 'wind barb' will point into the wind, North, and a wind vector will be aligned with the tip pointing south." [They proved that their arrow vectors point in the direction the wind is flowing TO, not the direction it’s coming FROM. I’m just asking that they fix their app to say Direction To rather than Direction From, not changing anything but the text. Keep the arrows pointing as they are, just label them correctly!!] Update: this issue is still broken. It should be a simple fix, and contrary to the reply from SF, it’s not a matter of opinion, it’s the truth! It’s a confusing error and should be fixed ASAP. ************************ In general the app works well, but there’s a problem with the Observed wind direction shown on the Wind Graph page. It’s pointed in the right direction, but it’s labeled wrong!! It’s labeled in the key as “Direction From” when it’s actually the direction the wind is flowing to, not from. I’ve emailed the developers directly but they’ve never corrected it. I know it’s a small detail in an otherwise useful app, but it seems like an easy fix to remove any confusion.

Use SailFlow for work. Latest update causes app to freeze and become unresponsive. Support had an attempted fix but it did not work. Will update review once problem is corrected
