  • Tax Rate Updates and Bugs

    PLEASE add the capability to update the tax rate on all items at once. Being a mobile vendor requires setting the sales tax rate to the locality rate for each event. It’s ridiculous that you have to go one by one to update each item. The PayPal product team should update the tax rates menu to add an option to “apply rate to all products”. The “set as default rate” option is useless for existing products. There are bugs in current settings as end of event reporting will show that multiple tax rates were applied when only the state rate and 1 locality rate was selected for all products.

    Is it really this difficult to create a functioning app? I downloaded it simply to use the “tap to pay” option for PayPal, and can’t even get past the login screen because it’s claiming my PayPal account password is incorrect. This app isn’t even functional. Save yourself the frustration and do not waste your time. 1 star is generous.

  • No tax on products

    The app allows you to create inventory but when you put items in the cart it doesn’t add tax. You have to calculate the total and then enter that amount in order to get the tax added. Makes everything slower and unnecessary complicated.

  • No SMS for receipts

    I have tried multiple phones after I was unable to send a receipt using SMS with a customer. I have tried two iPhones. 15pro max and a 16pro max. I have also tried using Samsung s24 ultra and same issue no SMS. Emails I have no issues with the sent but it’s more convenient when you have option to send SMS. I tried to troubleshoot following everything I found on PayPal website even uninstalled and started over. I have the newest update and still no SMS.

    We started with PayPal Here and transitioned over to Zettle. There are lots of little updates or enhancements we would like to see. However the fees are lower and never ever had an issue receiving our funds. The inventory tracking is acceptable, basic reports. Trying to use multiple users can be a problem. Luckily it works for us a small family run seasonal business. Yes there are better apps available but you can expect to pay more for things you may never use or need. This is our 5th year using PayPal Zettle.

  • Easy Safe way to take plastic payments

    I’ve been using PayPal to take credit card payments even at outside Flea Markets for a little over 10 years. It’s always worked very well. People I don’t know I ask for ID I suggest you do the same. I’ve never had a problem with the app. And I only ever had one charge back and I suspect that was buyers remorse because I knew the guy. PAYPAL worked very hard for me to keep some money unfortunately that guy’s bank would not release the funds.

    An amount to the third decimal place before rounding will crash Tap to Pay on iPhone. How come such an important feature got this bug? The newest 7.93.1 didn’t fix this.

    Sent my actual products to wrong address then a month later I’m still waiting for my refund. Horrible and non existent customer service. It’s 3rd world bad. It’s plainly obvious that they only care about making money.They certainly don’t care about us or what they do to us. As long as they are making their money who cares who they step all over along the way. They probably beat puppies I’m thinking at this point. That’s how bad my experience was with these folks. Thanks for the great experience Zelle!!
