  • So doesn’t work at all

I have an older system which I brought from another house. Just downloaded this app. Got many errors until I succeeded in updating the software in the Bridge BR100 (which was always a bad idea, but it worked well for a while). Now the app can find my speakers but fails to add them to the system no many different ways I tried. And the support phone says “25 minutes wait time”. Shucks.

Latest update renders all music services unusable. This experience keeps getting worse. So much invested, what a waste.
  • Sonos has jumped the shark - consistently terrible

I’ve been a Sonos customer for years. I’m done. It works, then it doesn’t. Change apps, try this and that, worst experience ever!! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere..

Worked for a year or so. It still works with hardwire to TV, but can’t connect to it via app. App is poorly designed. Eventually tried resetting the app. Now it won’t find the Beam at all. So useless-can’t play music on it at all. Just a cheap TV soundbar at this point for not so cheap of a price. Sound quality is fine but not great. I won’t be buying Sonos in the future.

I know that the components aren’t the latest, but they’d all been working well, and we could control them from iPhones and iPads. After this latest update the app keeps losing connections to Sonos devices (they appear and then disappear) and the control is laggy and flaky.

Older products continue to drop in/out. Saved music don’t always play. I invested a lot of money (quite some time ago). I wish I’d stayed with hardwired direct-play music.

Sonos keeps forcing us to update but the app keeps getting worse. If you are in a search you can’t change rooms without going all the way back out to get to “your system” the icons along the bottom were much better in older versions. You could quickly get to what you needed. It has also become very slow and unresponsive. It freezes so I have to restart the app. Changing volume or skipping a song takes forever. The displayed song is way behind. They need to get rid of the fluff and make it fast and reliable again!

I finally got my Sonos working again. Then the power went out at my house. I’ve spent a half hour unplugging and plugging things in, still no luck. Sometimes the same thing happens when there’s an update.

My experience with the Sonos and the controller is absolutely awful. I just spend an hour trying to connect it to the router and there’s absolutely no way I can make these speakers work. I’ve tried everything above and beyond and the speakers keep they keep disconnecting in the last couple of months. They’re a real problem and I’m not sure if I need to sell them or just throw them very much, disappointed very much, especially that this is an expensive equipment
