  • I need speakers, not Sonos

Bad update. The harder sonos force their spying and favor their own services, the more I realize how much i don’t need sonos. I need wifi speakers that don’t spy, promote stuff i don’t want, and generally interfere. Latest update continually forces me to log in (no thanks), and resets when opening (horrible) and reorders my sources (just stop, already). Listen techbros: My system is in my home. I don’t need to log in to Sonos to get the best experience from my system in my home. Stop partnering with NSA on home invasions! Leave me alone to listen in peace!! Focus on fixing volume controls, instead, since you’ve consistently proven yourselves incompetent there for years now.
  • Annoyingly Slow

It's obvious that they are prioritizing pushing services over usability. Cannot remove Sonos radio from services (this might be tolerable if the app wasn't sooo slow).
  • Dumb App

Promises made, promises not kept. A terrible app… issues too numerous to list.
  • Glitchy at best

System does not work seamlessly. App is slow and glitchy. Have to constantly reconnect certain rooms. Subpar at best.

Is there any other company that compares?? Sonos sound quality is impeccable. Sonos direction- always a glimpse of things to come. But the present with Sonos provides so much: Genre selection- volume balancing- aesthetic explorations - again, is there any company that compares?? Seriously : Sonos is the rockstar- so excitedly proud to be a part of the Sonos evolution. Keep it coming!
  • Horrible!!!

What a complete disappointment. I have had Sonos speakers in my home for at least 10 years. I upgraded diligently but the whole system is one giant brick. Not only is this system a mess but there is a really good chance that it interferes with my overall WiFi mesh such that when I try to play music, my WiFi conks out. Never again.
  • Sonos program

Not an app works more like a program. Crashes , freezes and not easy to use.
  • It’s getting better

The new UI was a substantial change, but I’m gradually adjusting to it. Most of the local library functions have been restored, except for saving a queue to a new playlist or saving and replacing an existing playlist. Please keep the updates coming!
  • Constant Interruptions

Every time I want to use the speakers they will not play unless you update & cannot update without paying for service. So I have 4 speakers that I cannot use the speakers without a monthly bill.
