    I had a firmware update for my AF302 dual bowl camera feeder and now I can’t view the camera on the app with my WiFi on. I’ve ran all the troubleshooting options. Also the motion sensor is going off for no reason every 3-10mins!!!! I’ve turned off night vision and tried with it back on and same results. My sensitivity is set to the lowest and smallest setting. The updates are getting worse and worse. But I gave it two stars because it still holds the feed and still feeds. But that’s it…..

  • Notifications no longer work

    I have shared my devices with 3 other people and none of us get notifications from either of my feeders or fountains. Love the devices but app needs improvement

    Was working great but a few weeks ago the app started crashing when trying to access my pet's feeder. Redownloaded the app and now it crashes immediately on load. Needs to be fixed! Update: December 18th app is still broken, crashes when I try to access my feeder :(

    To market this as having a camera is a scam. You have to buy your own SD card and subscribe to some video cloud in order to have a “camera”. Very disappointing as I thought it would be like Ring where you can watch in real time.

    The product itself is great but functionality is sooo limited. You have either free feeding or scheduled feeding. If you forget to refill the feeder and refill it you can’t randomly free feed and then continue with the feeding schedule. You would have to use your next feed within that date and it then moves to the next calendar day. Also , why can’t I choose what tray to free feed with? I constantly have to cancel scheduled feedings. I don’t know what tray has or doesn’t have food. This is an easy fix . Allow users to free feed while not interfering with their scheduled feeding. Let me open my dang tray.

    Hello, I don’t have much issues with the app except that there’s no setting for dark mode. Please add this accessibility option. I have severe light sensitivity and this app is almost complete BRIGHT white and light grey. I will update the review when dark mode has been added.

    As a feeder, it works fine. However I got this to video check on my cat. Got the whole cloud storage and was getting notifications and watching him. All of a sudden push notifications stopped working. Now I can barely even get the app to record anything and I’m unbinding and rebinding the feeder every 4 days because it won’t record ANYTHING! I was fine for just a month after getting it, now I’m out hundreds of dollars. And I bet I’ll get some generic message from their support. I suggest buying a different feeder!!!! This company is a letdown and I can’t wait to get a new feeder and DELETE THIS APP!

  • A real letdown compared to “Lite” version

    I’ve had an earlier model WiFi/camera feeder for close to two years and been mostly pleased. It used the Petlibro “Lite” app and though not spectacular it was very functional and mostly reliable with a few nice features. Raccoons destroyed that feeder so I bought a new “dual tray” feeder as well as a single for a friend. Unfortunately these work only with this newer app and it has been nothing but a constant pain from the start. The walk-you-through install instructions are completely wrong so my friend got extremely frustrated with hers right away. I managed just fine because I’ve owned countless connected devices, but yeah they are terrible. Whether it’s a hardware issue of the app, the WiFi connection is hopelessly finicky and unreliable. At least secen out of ten times if I immediately click on a notification the connection fails, and nearly as often just opening the app. No, it’s not my WiFi. This feeder is exactly where the old one was which is less than 20 ft away from the router and I frequently stream 4k video from other rooms with no issues at all. I also have numerous security cameras and other connected devices that work fine so it’s not my ISP. The Lite version kept a still/snapshot of what triggered each alert, which was a GREAT way to rapidly scroll past false alarms or events of no interest. I don’t see that in this version. Why? This app constantly badgers the heck out of you to sign up for cloud storage. I have an SD card installed and prefer to use only that, as I did with my prior feeder. If you want to charge me a one-time fee for (a better version of) the app, OK I could live with that if not ridiculous, but once I’ve refused the cloud option a few times PLEASE stop harassing me. It takes extra time & clicks every time I open the app. There’s even a green banner advertisement across the top of the video feed obscuring part of my view. Stop it! If you aren’t making enough money on the sale of the feeder (it is very reasonably priced IMO) then increase that or as I said charge a one-time fee for a no-ads app (which should be disclosed when selling the feeder). In the past I’ve recommended these to multiple friends, some I know have purchased them. I can’t do that again until these issues are addressed.

  • Need extended multi scheduling options

    can you update scheduling to include feeding schedules for pets that like to graze? it would be great to have few scheduled openings for each of the 3 compartment per day because my cat likes to eat a small bit, but not enough to get full in one go, and then comes back for the remaining bit of her portion about an hour and a half or so later. I don’t want to keep it open and exposed for that long in the meantime though. I actually like to feed her 4 times per day so it would be great if I could reschedule the same compartment of the 3 a few more times throughout the day.
