  • Soooo slow

    I downloaded conversations because I’ve had countless email issues with GoDaddy email/outlook conversations for my websites. Despite trouble shooting with customer service, they recommended this app. The idea is great but there is always errors. Emails will not be marked read, it will show double the email, emails that have been long read, will suddenly pop up as unread again and lastly, emails that will not even load any of the text. It’s so frustrating not having a reliable source for something as important as business correspondence.
  • Keeps dropping calls

    Lately every time I’m on a call with a customer it drops. I’ve had to result to calling them back from my personal number which defeats the purpose of the app. My internet connection is strong and there’s no reason that the calls should be dropping. My normal cell service works fine. This is beyond frustrating

    I’ve used this app for the last year. It was a very rough beginning, but eventually things got sorted out. The app seemed to work well enough, up until about 4-5 weeks ago. EVERY single call I make or receive now drops within 5 minutes, if not sooner. Every single call. EVERY SINGLE CALL. (Have I made myself clear yet?) Admittedly it makes me really anxious when thinking about calling someone now. Is the call going to drop? Will I be able to say everything I need to say BEFORE the call drops? Ugh. It looks very unprofessional to have a business line that one can’t use effectively. I hope you, GoDaddy Convo, can figure this out. Otherwise we’re all going to drop you.

    **Update. Dropped calls after 1 minute and spotty notifications which caused lost business. Tons of spam with no robo call blocking. It was such a poor experience that I finally switched to Openphone and am already 100 times happier. After being forced to switch from Smartline to Conversations, I’m no longer able to properly operate my pool service business due to the inability to text current or prospective clients. I do not use an EIN but instead a social security number for my business as I’m a sole proprietor. Upon submitting my application for the new requirement I was denied and was told I have an EIN which I do not. I’m now in Conversations purgatory for up to 14 days and am unable to use a product I’ve already paid a year in advance. To add insult to injury, I continue to receive spam texts for health insurance etc through this line. I would highly recommend using another provider for your second line.
  • This App Is Horrible

    When I call out, it’s fine. But lately, when I get a call, it hangs up on the other person within a minute. It’s been this way for 3 weeks. I deleted the app, re-downloaded and resigned in: no change. The old SmartLine App was so much better. Fix this. We pay for your services to work. - as of 4/30/2025, we have ported our number out to a cell phone. This app is not worth the money they take from you. Seriously considering my legal options to get my money back for all the failed calls we got.
  • Too complicated and glitches

    This app is very disappointing. We were much happier running our business with the SmartLine app. Much easier to navigate and less glitchy. We hate it and will probably look elsewhere soon

    The app keeps stalling. It shows the wrong number of unread messages. Sometimes the caller id is wrong

    The app constantly drops calls. When I say constantly, I mean every call, every day, for months. Go Daddy actually cannot talk to the service provider behind Conversations, they can only “message” them. So Go Daddy has no way to troubleshoot this app. DAILY the app does not open, DAILY it hangs up on EVERY call, DAILY it won’t send texts, and DAILY it fails. Imagine running a business where you hang up on EVERY call EVERY day?! The positive reviews have to be paid for.
