    I got this app hoping for it to teach me guitar with occasional ads but not even 30 minutes go by and I apparently have to pay to continue

  • Don’t use this app

    This is awful. It has you turn on your microphone so it can hear the tone of the strings. And it kept saying it was too low so I changed it and it kept saying it was too low. So I kept changing it back and forth carefully each time so the sound was right. In the end, it made the string on my guitar snap . The microphone on this app is terrible .i even wore a headphone like it recommended and it didn’t change a thing. I hate this app and made me lose a string off of a guitar my grandfather gave me before he died.

    I downloaded this app because I wanted to learn bass guitar and all the other apps only provide learning for acoustic guitars I was glad to find that I could choose a bass guitar option come to find out it dose not provide that so why ask what I play if you will only provide for one type of guitar?

  • Honest a great app but…

    At the start I really enjoyed the app. It helped me learn the basics very quickly. However, as you get further into the lessons they get excessively longer and much more boring. Not necessarily hard but for instance you might find yourself playing the same chord for several minutes just to move on. Now I just find myself playing a few songs I like which they usually only provide dumbed down versions of the actual music so it never sounds perfect.

  • Can’t hear my guitar

    This seems like a good app but when I am playing my guitar the app doesn’t hear it no matter how hard I pluck at the string the app just doesn’t hear it. I did everything to make it listen to my guitar I took off my phone case I let it use my microphone and NOTHING!? not a very good I can’t even end the beginning tutorial :(

    It is a great app, with great explanations and tutorials. However I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking to “try out” guitar for the first time. The app literally teaches you 2 cords and how it tune your guitar, And then they don’t let you go any further with the lessons until you pay for premium. I know that for me this was the first guitar lesson that I could actually understand what they were teaching me, and so I am greatly disappointed with these results. I feel like they should at least put some kind of warning before you start like, “Hey, just know that you know, you have to pay to get past lesson whatever it is, have a nice day :)”

    This app had me learning my fav songs from my fav genres I love how personalized it is and how quick and easy a lesson is!, my only thing is that you have to pay for the rest of the curriculum
