Simply piano is a good app for beginners and for advanced. I am a beginner and I started using simply piano. It was great, giving me live feedback and points that helped me learn basic notes. I was starting to enjoy it until to you have to pay to continue. That small part was basically a “Trial”. I didn’t like how when I was playing the notes, it didn’t respond to notes well and the timing was off. Overall, it’s a good app but there is room to improve.

I love piano. It's fun. But there's one problem. If you rapidly press the "Listen" button after finishing a part of a lesson, when it is transitioning into the next part and you are listening to the last part, it will glitch and the app will break.

I love simply piano it’s completely free and I’ve only been playing for a day and I’m so much better, but when you practice before the tap of the music it doesn’t correct it only corrects when you do the tape with music, but other than that simply piano is awesome.

I loved this app as soon as I got it! I learned how to read music on my first day! BUT when I was about to learn my first song, it made me pay to learn it… so just be prepared to pay.

I love this app, it’s super good, but the majority of the time (for me at least) when I’m doing the lesson, if it pairs too low and too high a note together, it won’t register that I’m playing both of them. And with normal notes sometimes too, not just low and high combined. It’s really annoying, but other than that, great app.

This is a great and easy way to learn piano and we have been using this for about 3 years now, and there are a couple annoying features and bugs. For starters: it does a bad job at teaching you timing and how long to press the notes for. It shows you ONE video on how the different shapes correspond to the length of the note. Then it shows you some notes and asks you to play them and gives you ZERO feedback on whether you pressed for long enough or not, only on whether the note was correct. Second: when you hit unpause on a song, it unpauses immediately and does not give you time to put your hands back on the keyboard / piano. It USED to wait half a second before unpausing, but they removed that. Over all it’s a great app, but it has its downsides
