I've used this for 5k- 13.1miles and I can adjust to tell the app I want to run faster or just build mileage and it adjusts a training plan for me. I love getting to make the calendar and just run the amount it tells me for the day. So easy and FREE!!

I have paid for some of the big name running apps and I keep coming back to Hal each time when training for my half and full marathon. The other apps claim to follow the 80/20 rule, yet my Garmin is telling me I’m overexerting and not recovering like I should and next thing you know my legs are spent. IMO, Hal’s plans are a true 80/20 split and allow for proper recovery.

A few years back in 2021 I got in shape and ran a marathon. This app was crucial to help me get the intensity and volume I needed to get ready for it. I haven’t been consistent with my fitness, but Hal is always waiting to help me.

I was recommended this app by two people to train for my first ever marathon this coming summer! Two weeks into the course and I love all the helpful advice it includes also! For a free running app I get excited to see what it says for the run that day.
