To use this with a PC requires a separate, $30 purchase. The app itself isn’t that special. I tried to get a refund from my App Store purchase but could not.

I’ve been using Paprika Recipe Manager for years, having switched from Mastercook and A>Cook. It’s been a game-changer. Saving recipes while browsing is quick and easy; I simply share them to Paprika, and it extracts the recipe without ads or unnecessary text. It handles various formats seamlessly and rarely makes mistakes. About all that I have to do is to occasionally login if there’s a paywall on the website and then select the categories for the recipe. Recently, I noticed an upgrade that allows scaling recipes, including both volumetric and weight measurements. For instance, when I scaled a recipe to use 2 eggs instead of 3, Paprika adjusted both the volumetric quantities and the weight measurements, which is incredibly useful for baking. In the past, IIRC, it would scale the primary units of measure, but not scale those in parentheses. It’s nice to see how the developer continuously upgrades the product. I’ve purchased Paprika for Android, iOS, and MacOS, and it syncs perfectly across all my devices. Although my family can use it on Apple devices, they prefer browsing the web or using Pinterest, which I find far less efficient. Overall, Paprika is brilliant, and I highly recommend it for anyone serious about organizing and using recipes effectively.

Super useful to keep recipes organized - especially when pulling from social media or different sites/sources. Just copy the link and import into the app! It has different fun little tricks to make things going quicker. It’s nice to be able to categorize the recipes, rate them, add your own notes, cross out ingredients as you go is my favorite, and pinning them for even quicker access. I highly recommend!

I’ve tried many and been roped into monthly subscriptions. This app is better than all of them and no subscription!!! No brainer! I meal plan for the week and have a set grocery list to avoid getting unnecessary items. Update: my only wish is the app would also upload instagram posts.

I have been a faithful user of Paprika since 2015. Today I was using the app and it cut off in the middle of using it. I could no longer get it to open. I reset my device and everything. We googled the issue and it stated that the app is no longer supported. I had to pay for it again. That frustrated me, but I went ahead and paid again. I signed in and noticed that some of my recipes are gone. I lost recipes that I will never be able to get back. I am so angry right now.

It’s easier to keep record with a notebook, features are clumsy and not worth the effort to use.
