  • Just when the game was on the verge of entering a new, more player-friendly era, it was ruined

TLDR: The game is only for mega spenders now, turn away For background, I’ve played the game on and off for hundreds of hours at casual, core, and hardcore levels. Additionally, I’ve spent a significant amount of money, so this isn’t a free-to-play perspective. As the title suggests, I had faith that the new Age of Annihilus content season was going to be a second wind for a game that had been somewhat struggling for the last year following a controversial change to character stats. Unfortunately, the developers have killed all hype for this new era by implementing a mechanic called Overpower. They then subsequently lied about the reasoning behind its implementation and have been attempting to gaslight the community into believing that Overpower is a positive change. Perhaps the worst part of it all is that the developers are only on the first stage of implementing Overpower, and players are already leaving the game in droves. Don’t believe me? Talk to any alliance leader or recruiter. Overpower is not a reward for investing in your characters, it is a punishment for not maximizing the progression of every single character on your roster. Another player has their characters 5 levels higher than yours? They deal an additional 50% damage on top of their increased stats, with two more stages of penalties to be added in the future if you’re even further behind the enemy. This is not how a developer balances a game, this is simply the developers ensuring that players who spend money to pass progression bottlenecks always win. The developers can say what they want to try and excuse it, but every player I’ve spoken to has only seen their PvP experience worsened by Overpower. So, if you want to play this game and keep up with the declining playerbase, be prepared to spend. Not hundreds, but thousands. And that’s no exaggeration.

The game provides a selection of characters providing a new one each day. I enjoy the mini battles in the daily challenges. There is nothing wrong with game, and I recommend it.
  • It’s too easy

I started playing a few years ago and I just returned to it on a new account, and it’s so unbelievably easy. After signing in for a few days you already get like 20 heroes, all of which you can get to tier 4 without even trying.

So I love this game the teams you can build want to put hank pym and ultron on the same team sure you can do it but my glitch is when playing raid dark dimensions and other gamemodes it will kick me out and I have to get through the painfully slow loading screen but every thing else is great please fix that
  • It’s nice

I started playing and everything was going smoothly, but as you progress you start to realize that you’ll never be good enough to get the legendary characters needed for later campaigns. They leave these opportunities behind $50 packages that are really not worth it. The subreddit will tell you everything you need to know. If I could take back the time I’ve spent playing this game I would. It was fun, but now not worth it.

Great game, time consuming and exciting. Just challenging and costly to level up. Freebies need to level up.
  • Amazing BUT

There are a few issues/bugs here and there, but the main one i would like to see fixed is PYRO’s ULTIMATE, the fire Lion flies off screen instead of toward the enemy, it looks bizarre and makes me not want to use him, please fix this thank you
