Description

Take control of your reading life. Use Leio to time your reading sessions and stay motivated. How many books did you start this year? How many did you finish? How long did it take to read them? Leio can help you answer these questions and many more. Fun fact: Leio means “I read” in Portuguese. --- Leio is a digital journal to help you track and manage your reading. It's designed primarily around physical books, but you can also use electronic readers or other devices. Leio helps you organize your library, your notes and your favorite quotes, but that's just the beginning. Timing your reading sessions makes it easier to set aside some time and turn reading into a habit. The data gathered this way quickly turn into an extensive record of your reading life, providing you with statistics and information about your habits. These data can also be projected into the future: Leio will tell you when you will finish each book and help you plan accordingly. TIMER Time your reading sessions and gain insight into your habits. Life can be distracting: use Leio to set aside some time and focus on your reading. PROGRESS Keep track of where you are in multiple books. A quick look will tell you what page to read next, what percentage of the book you have completed, how long you have read it for and much more. New: add new books easily with Leio's barcode scanner! PREDICTIONS Leio will learn from your habits and give you accurate predictions to help you manage your reading life. Know exactly when you will finish a book and for how long you have to read until you are done. DEADLINES If you need to finish a book by a certain date, Leio can tell you how long or how many pages to read per day to finish in time. You can also play with the settings and come up with your own reading plan: tell Leio how much and how often you plan to read and see when you might finish in real time. PLANNER Tell Leio how often you want to read each book and use the planner section to stay on track. See how much you have read on each day, how much you still have to read, and how much time to set aside to accomplish your goals! • Used to be great, but not any more

This app used to be the best for tracking reading progress. It was good at estimating the time to read a book, and was good at resuming my last page read. After the last major update, it doesn’t resume reading well, and the timer page when you’re reading a book isn’t as user friendly as it was. The app overall is clunky and hard to navigate, and I can’t seem to mark books as complete. The intuitive nature of using the app is totally gone now. Also, along with the update, I lost almost half of my library of books I’ve tracked with this app. We’d all be better off if the devs just undid this update and reverted back to the old version.
  • Update Ruined a Once Great App :(

I have had Leio and been devoted user for more than 3 years. I took a few months off of using this app and came back to a new user interface that is convoluted and a pain to use compared to the old interface which was simple and easy to use. Looking at my archive of books and using the sorting options doesn’t even work correctly. Example: Books I read in 2022 are sorted higher than books I read in 2023 when sorting by “Newly added” etc. Now I am seeing all the one star reviews and feel so sad. The update really seems to have backfired and I dislike everything about it. Please revert back to the old user interface or I may have to sadly move on to a new reading app.
  • Update makes app worse

I stopped reading for a year and I come back and the system for clicking on the book I’m currently reading changed. Now i have to scroll all the way to the bottom to get there so I can read that book. Also, the sorting section should be able to stay permanently on the setting I want cause that was solve my issue
  • Update Ruined this App

The update ruined this app. The new app is horrible. Old app would remember you last read page and start you there when starting a new reading session. Now you can’t enter you start page until you finish the reading session. You hit start reading then have to link a book to it. All the update did was make things more complicated and added extra steps.

  • Can’t work with new update

I’ve been using that app since 2015, it was buggy at times but I liked it. After last update app was crashing on every opening, so I uninstalled it… and all the backups got erased with it. I found one from 2022 on my phone but is not working either… it was nice while it lasted, time to move on I guess.

I have been using this app for years and have absolutely loved it. But this update, man, really ruined it. It won’t even calculate time read correctly?!? What the heck?!? Also so buggy to run. And now ads? Deeply disappointed
  • Clunky and Non Functional

I’ve had Leio for years and have absolutely loved it. However with this most recent update, the entire app was basically reimagined. Now there is incredible lag on typing things out and searching, using automatic reading timer and linking a book crashes the app, and everything is so difficult to find anymore. I have years of historical data here, but all of my favorite functionality has been deleted or is non functional.
  • New Update is Not an Update

The update has rendered this app unusable. It’s not no longer intuitive to use. It also no longer has the e-book feature. I am looking for a different timer to track my book reading stats. The way it used to be was fantastic!
