    They have turned the app to trash and cameras useless. Adds everywhere, blocking camera view, disabling SD cards. Guess they got greedy and there's no reprimand for them. While cameras may be good and cheap, their software is advertised poisoned trash
  • Beware iPhone users! App suddenly stopped letting me access my account

    Yesterday morning, it worked fine. I use my Apple ID to login with facial recognition. But yesterday afternoon, the app changed. It opens to a “pick your country” menu and then asks you to log in. It does not recognize my Apple ID as being connected to an existing account (I have had this account for close to a decade). I tried entering the “private relay” email address that Apple uses to log into this account for me and Yi app says there is no such account that exists. Great, I thought. Idiots deleted my account a day after collecting my subscription fee via Apple. But! I had shared the camera feeds with my housemate who accesses the same camera feeds via his Android phone app and just checked with him this morning. His is working normally… which means, my cameras are still working with my own account.. I am apparently the only one who now cannot access my own cameras on my own account that I am paying for?!!!! No response from Customer service except that they are busy. Autoresponder sent me some links to help myself that are either leading to 404 failure code pages or back into the loop to the same place I started where I found the customer service “contact us” email address. Their “blog” might have useful information for iPhone users who are now locked out of their STILL SURVEILLING CAMERAS account… But I will never know. My Safari browser’s Cyber security feature blocked access because this “technology company” has something wrong with their credentials and it is a suspected malware site now. No way to reset or retrieve a new password on the app because it says my account (that is still running, being billed, and feeding live video streams to others) does not exist. I came here because I don’t know what else to do. I can get a ladder and crawl up to my cameras on the roofline to unplug them so at least whoever IS CONTROLLING my cameras can not use them to spy on me. But what the heck am I paying for then? Grrrrr. Just so dang mad that they don’t even respond.

    If I could give a negative star rating I would. Do NOT purchase a subscription nor anything from this app. Don’t put any of your information nor make an account. It has me stuck in a loop suggesting I purchased my plan on an android and that I can only cancel the subscription on that android device. I have never owned an android. It won’t let me cancel my subscription and none of the contact support info is correct. You can’t call them nor email. I submitted a request to have my subscription canceled and their response was to give me a coupon and then they closed the request. I’m pretty sure I will have to close my card because of these fraud charges. I have no access to my own account in any way. What sense does that make?! I used apple pay and it still won’t let me access it. Do not make ANY purchase on this app and I wouldn’t even download it in general! it’s a scam they will steal your information and money!!

    I went to cancel since now I have ring. Guess what you can’t cancel on the app. Thank goodness I went through Apple and was able to cancel through there. When you try to cancel through the app you have to send in a request to do it. But it won’t let you send in the request at all.
  • Landscape mode doesn’t work when casting to a larger screen

    When looking at the cameras, it’s nice to be able to display the image on an external monitor. However, when viewing in landscape mode, the image on the screen just turns sideways but doesn’t orient (the image is horizontal on the screen). Other apps and services have no problem casting a landscape when viewing so i know it’s not the screens issue.
