I have made meditation a part of my daily routine. It has helped me deal with my anxiety and stress and helps me to be more aware of my surroundings and to be more present in the moment. This is the only app I pay for and it’s well worth the money. Dan Harris and his experts and expertise rock!

I love this ap- engaging and approachable without too many bells and whistles. Perfect for people who are skeptical and those who are already meditating. It works! I often use it in my practice as well.
  • Fantastic app overall

I’ve been using this app for probably close to 4 years now. I am not a fan of the latest update, but the app itself is still fantastic and the development team is very receptive to feedback. The various guides, great training video series that incorporate the latest science and a whole host of topics make this well worth the annual subscription.
  • Names Missing

I have been meditating with this app daily since its early days. I have also found it useful through its change of ownership. BUT, for some unknown reason now, in the “sleep” and “singles” categories-where I locate all my meditations-the names of the teachers/guided meditators are not shown. They have been taken away! We develop favorite teachers over time and need those names for identification. (And shouldn’t they be given the credit?) Hopefully this is a temporary bug that needs fixing. If not, sadly, it may be a dealbreaker for me.

Took money from my account without my permission. Apple says that it wasn’t them and this app said it wasn’t them and yet I am am out of $99
  • Downloading meditations broken

The app doesn’t remember/keep downloads so what is the point of that? The app is totally worthless without constant access to the internet. Fairly annoying for someone who often spends a week or more out of range of cell or wifi.
  • Life Changing

I started with this app as my introduction to meditation last year after leaving a very stressful job. I was not able to really look at what was causing the way I felt. I always just thought I was not able to relax or properly meditate. I just needed new insight and this app along with Dan Harris really changed my life. Now I meditate and really have gotten a new lease and sight on life.
  • Nagging for Updates

It constantly nags me to update while using the app, which is not very relaxing. Great content, but they’ve been adding “features” I have no desire to use such as “setting intentions” with no option to turn off. Definitely don’t like the direct things seem to be heading since the Dan Harris left.
  • Not many free meditations left

They’ve made it more difficult to find free meditations and have also reduced the number of free meditations.
