  • Recording doesn’t work

    Did everything right, video was showing when playing. Now it’s just black, no recording. No stats, nothing.

    SwingVision, an app where you upload a 10 GB file, process it, offload it, and then ask yourself why it’s storing 20 GB of data with no way to delete its cache except to uninstall and reinstall. (And yes, that’s what their tech support told me to do. I pay for Pro and that’s what they told me to do.)

    I have not yet used this to analyze an actual match, but I can see what a wonderful tool it will be. Using it only with the ball machine or practicing my serve, I’ve learned a lot. It’s easy to use and I can’t wait to use it in set play, singles, and doubles.

  • Great when it works, barely ever works

    It’s too expensive for the occasional good experience. The set up is a bit ridiculous even with the swing vision stick. When you finally get the optimal recording angle you still have to worry about the video cropping. It struggles to find the start and end of points leaving you with a video that jumps around to seemingly random parts of the match. The 1 year subscription that comes with the “free” stick isn’t worth it. If you want to play with it, try it for a month, get annoyed and then cancel your subscription.

    I have used this app for several months now. I have two comments for those considering it: 1. Be prepared to be amazed by the data you’ll have access to. This is an unbelievable tool to learn how to play tennis better—if you’re serious about learning how to play tennis better. 2. Be prepared to be severely disappointed and rendered largely helpless if you have any issues with the software and need help. Their customer service is only conducted through email, as far as I can tell, and it is horrendous. You’re basically on your own.

  • Great app with some minor drawbacks

    This app is a game changer for me. I’ve been able to improve my stroke just by watching the highlights. My favorite part is the video splicing because I used to have to do that myself and it took so long to manually splice. The main frustration I have with the app is the constant reminder that I don’t have the pro subscription. I purchased the semi-pro subscription and I still see all the features that I don’t have access to because I don’t have the better subscription. I wish they just made those pro subscription features hidden so I don’t have to constantly be reminded that I have the cheaper subscription.

  • Exported videos now have distorted color

    The most recent update introduced a major issue all exported videos now have distorted dark color and overly compressed quality (pro version with 1080 p quality). Please fix it. Thanks!

    SwingVision is a game changing tennis tool! Watching video replays of yourself is an amazing benefit to actually see what you’re doing well or not. On top of that - the analytic stats it provides post match are INVALUABLE!! A must subscribe app for anyone who plays tennis or pickleball!!
