  • Great sound, not so great app

Coming from Spotify, the first thing I noticed was the quality of sound. Even on the “CD Quality” version of a hi-def song is noticeably better than the quality of other streaming services. Great overall library, including some pretty niche music. About these things, I have zero complaints. What I would like to see is a better version of CarPlay. Not being able to shuffle or unshuffle playlists and albums on the fly while driving (I do mostly listen in my car) is frustrating. Also, the song library doesn’t seem to shuffle super well. If I start at the end of my liked songs with shuffle on… it just stops. Seems like that could be improved.
  • Great collection; great quality

I wind up listening to this app far more than other music apps. The collection is very high quality, even if a few older and indie recordings are not available. Platform quality is excellent.
  • Good Sound, Needs UX Improvements

Really great sound! Some of their playlist management is a little frustrating. Trying to get albums or playlists offline seems unnecessarily complicated, cant easily reorganize catalogue, cant easily delete items, and some status/coloration is confusing (did I download the album already, etc). Lowering the rating as the response is inane to the UX concerns.
  • Most streamed artists

I really enjoy using Qobuz but there is a feature that I would really appreciate. If you could show the most streamed artists of the month that would be great.
  • One big missing feature

It would be nice to have access to the download store/my purchased library

This app is incredible. Let’s start with the basics - they pay artists more than any other service (including Tidal). First month was free, and I pay $12-13 for a month which is comparable to Spotify. In exchange, I get an audiophile experience on WiFi with minimum CD quality on mobile (you can stream Hi Res on mobile, but it will kill your data, so just stick to CD, it’s perfectly fine for the car). Switching over from Big Evil (Spotify) was easy and I lost nothing, not a single song or playlist due to the free transfer from Soundiiz that Qobuz provides. I LOVE THIS APP and I can sleep at night knowing that some of my more niche artists are receiving a more fair compensation for the music that they make when I use Qobuz and nobody else.
  • Still garbage

I thought I would give Qobuz another try, hoping they had ACTUALLY improved the UX of the app and improved the app’s stability. I was wrong. The app UX is still need of improvement and the most irritating part of the app is that it will randomly stop playing music. I’ll be listening to one of my playlists that I have set to repeat, and at the end of songs it will randomly stop playing. The whole reason to have the app is to listen to music and it can’t even do that well. CarPlay integration is horrible. Music is always ordered by when it was downloaded instead of sorting alphabetically or given users the opportunity choose how to sort their music in CarPlay. Search and downloading music is also a horrible experience and don’t get me started on missing music and music that is incorrectly associated with the wrong artists. Save your money and don’t subscribe. Will probably be canceling my subscription when it’s up unless they actually do something to improve the app. Also, it shouldn’t be so hard to contact customer service, but they also made that difficult and annoying to do.
  • Great for home streaming but terrible for car

Wanted to use the single service across all surfaces but unfortunately Qobuz CarPlay UX is just nowhere near AppleMusic. Please bring it to the level of the app with large album covers and easier navigation. Small lists are not an option.
  • Car Play?

Why doesn't Car Play app have shuffle. App would be five stars.
  • By far the best audio however…

Love the audio. It’s the only service I actually can tell it’s high fidelity and not think It’s so subtle I guess it’s lossless? However the UI is not great and when u favorite an album it doesn’t favorite the songs which is odd. Mainly rather often the app will glitch and say can’t play song and keep skipping and on its own and will just quickly give that error message before skipping and error error error. Making the app unusable for an hour or so. Sometimes in the middle of a song it’ll stop randomly and shuffle to a different song. I’d like to exclusively use qobuz but I don’t know if I can justify keeping the service with these issues. The higher quality is awesome but it’s pointless with constant interruptions that Spotify or Apple doesn’t have ever. Hope qobuz can fix these issues because I like my music wide open and uncompressed .
