    Took away features after renewal and try to get you to upgrade to higher price tier just to have the features you used to have.

    Tried to cancel the free trial 3 days before being charged and it wouldn't let me, the app would freeze up. Of course I tried again after midnight and it lets me cancel but not after charging me the $63. Do not do the trial unless you are absolutely sure you want to commit.

    People should be aware that pop ups for the upgrade that costs money will continuously and incessantly show up and you won’t be able to look at your itinerary. When i first downloaded this app for a trip im taking across the country, CA to MA, it seemed pretty straight forward. however, i recently opened up the app trying to look back at the itinerary and directions for my trip and a pop up for the AI generated app upgrade was the only page showing up. i couldn’t navigate away from it nor look at my itinerary anymore. incredibly useless and id much rather use the AAA app.

    I enjoy all 5 of the activity options but users can only pick 1. This is a severe flaw which needs to be fixed. Allow subscribers to choose more than one option and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.

    This is the best money i’ve ever spent on an app! I also never thought i’d care enough to come leave a review on an app but I’m telling you, if you are going on a long road trip, roadtripper is a game changer! Trust and believe it is worth the money and will alleviate so much stress. For lots of stops or a more extensive trip, definitely use your computer to plan on roadtripper.

  • Company keeps changing subscriptions so my paid subscription no longer works

    I LOVED this app, was a paid premium member for years. In the last two years they have continued to jack up the price and limit the features, presumably to use us as beta testers for their AI planner. I haven’t been able to use my PAID subscription for 6 months. Absolute trash!

  • Works but clunky. Made unexplained exit from highway into secure gov’t facility(?)

    Purchased ahead of our first 2025 camping trip. Clunky and awkward and not as intuitive as we had hoped. Traveling with 29’ camper in tow and was instructed to exit. Assumed it was transitioning to next highway and could not see a large enough area to confirm or deny. Ended up on a secure site with barriers, etc and once we got past it, we were directed to U-Turn at a traffic light (?). Never was able to figure out why the exit and switched back to Google Maps.

    Not happy with this site at all! Difficult to use and navigation leads you down roads that RVs should but travel!! Very dissatisfied

    Initially when creating a road trip, I was able to create and end to end but when I tried to modify the trip to add stops, I was not able to figure it out. I had to restart a new trip which makes this app very cumbersome. It was easier just to ask ChatGPT to create a plan for me and that’s free! Totally regret purchasing this app and it’s way overpriced.
