Good app, really appreciate you making it available. One request, need an option to make an episode go to the top of the queue when it is played.

App is completely broken now, so many bugs I won’t bother listing. Do not use.

Paid for premium and still bad ads. What a waste of money.
  • Buggy and abandoned

I gladly paid the subscription fee for years. This was by far the best podcast app until its most recent overhaul and the obvious abandonment of the project. No updates in months. Bugs galore. Try searching for CounterClock, search will not find it. Sad….to see such a great app to downhill.
  • Abandoned?

Has this app been abandoned? Zero updates recently after releasing a major rewrite littered with bugs and increasing the subscription price. So many issues with failed downloads, syncing issues, changing chapters accidentally while scrolling, etc.
  • Newer UI is Awful

I hadn’t used this app in several months and got back into podcasts recently, only to be horrifically annoyed by nearly every change to the UI. I used to be able to quickly and simply re-order the episodes in Queue from almost any page, if a podcast was playing. Now I have to back all the way out to the homepage, swipe to the Queue, click on it, click Settings, click “Edit episodes”, and now 15 seconds later I can finally edit the Queue order. This goes for nearly every previous “quick” function. There are 2-3 more steps and 15 more seconds required to take just about every action possible. For instance, episodes no longer have direct links to the podcast’s page. The name used to be highlighted and hyperlinked, if an episode was playing there were two different screens you could tap on at any time that would take you straight to the podcast page where you could immediately see more episodes. Now, you have to swipe down to minimize the episode currently playing (which is now extremely annoying on its own since you HAVE to be on the thumbnail page, not the description, otherwise the scroll bar just bounces off the top and the episode doesn’t minimize), then tap however many buttons to get back to the Home page, then scroll all the way down to the podcast and tap on it to get to the pod’s page. I can go on. Literally everything is worse since the big UI change. I don’t know exactly which update that was, but it’s awful. The ONE thing that is a nice improvement is the little option to jump back to where you previously were in an episode after you skip forward or back the time, because half the time I use the scrubber bar it’s an accident. For the love of ğod, please go back to the previous actions. Everything was so much smoother and more convenient. It’s like you have purposely made everything take 5x more taps for absolutely no benefit whatsoever. This used to be a 5-star app.
  • The best podcast of its kind out there.

The only problem that I can think of with this podcast is that it doesn’t come out often enough! I have been listening to JVB for about three years now, and have gone back and listened to many of the episodes that pre-dated when I subscribed to this podcast. Absolutely fantastic information and it has changed the way that I hunt for the better! I can’t recommend highly enough.

This use to be a great podcast app but no longer. Downloads all fail. Use to be great but it’s not reliable to continue.
