    Update 1/7/2024 I have upgraded my previous review. The response to many of my issues was fast. The majority of ads were removed and video ads were completely removed. Thank you. I still can't see the dates of previous issues on my iPhone. It is particular to the Lafayette version of the Acadiana advocate since it works for other regional papers. Also, direct access to sections of the paper is still harder than in the previous app because you have to scroll through the little images at the bottom to get to the end - e.g. the comics section. But I'm still happier now that the ad burden has decreased with my paid subscription. Original review: I didn't think it could be done 1 star Congratulations. The developers successfully took a mediocre app and made it much worse. I pay for a subscription and now I have to watch and listen to video game adds to get to my content. Bad, bad!! Also, I can't by default go directly to the e-edition any more. And it is hard to get to the newspaper section I want to see. It used to be easy. Old editions aren't even labeled as to the date. Correct it or I'm out!! Get rid of the ads.
