  • Loss of Features is Disappointing

I love this focus timer and use it all the time when I need to focus on schoolwork, but I recently noticed that the widget for this app is gone and the timer preview in the notification center for iPhone is also missing. I loved these features especially and I would always start a timer from the widget and never the app as it kept excessive apps from taking up home screen space. The loss of these features is really inconvenient and I will not be using this app anymore and will return to a different timer on my computer unless they return.
  • Excessive Notifications That Can’t Be Disabled

I loved this simple app, but recently it’s been getting close to being deleted because of the excessive notifications being delivered all day. There is no way to turn them off without keeping my actual timer notifications intact. I’m hoping a few complaints from users will make them roll this back.
  • Loved this app for years. The new notifications are very annoying though.

Would love an option to only have the timer notifications enabled.
  • Spams notifications

Since the latest update the app keeps posting notifications telling me to use the app. There doesn’t seem to be any way to turn them off without also turning off the timer end notifications, and that would make the whole app useless. They also broke the widget and live activity a few weeks ago.
  • Ticking won’t turn off.

I muted the ticking sound but it persisted. It’s not super annoying but not ideal.
  • Live preview?

It’s great, but why did the live preview get removed?
  • Too much going on on the UI

For someone who gets overstimulated and needs a timer to keep track of presence and sensory overload, the scrolling timer, plus the numbers, plus press play and other things while I’m attempting to focus is distracting . I like others where’s it’s just a tomato counting down, but you can’t schedule reminders like this one. If it had less stuff going on on the user interface or settings that could help me simplify it to just start the timer and that’s only thing showing, I would get the pro. But for now I’m cool with deleting it
  • Annoying ticking

Even after selecting “mute ticking” it would not stop the annoying ticking sound. Absolutely unusable.
  • App no longer show notification of how much time is left

The app used to show notification when you would lock your phone on how much time was left on your pomodoro. Now it no longer does this and it’s very annoying . Please fix

I’ve been using the free version of this app for about a year. Having the timer available to view from the Home Screen was a great feature that I’m really missing. Being able to simply pick up my phone and see the time remaining is much better for productivity than having to pick up my phone, open it, open the app, etc. Please bring this feature back! I will change my review.
