    This has been my favorite app for checking off milestones and seeing what I could be working on with my kids for years but it looks like they changed it drastically so now I’m not even sure what I can do with it, so I guess I just have to delete it. So sad!

    I want to like this app, and I do when I can get it to work. I get push notifications for articles and videos that sound interesting but when I click the notification the app will always open to blank pages and nothing loads. The path from push notification to the app content has never worked for me. Half the time the app won’t load when opened. I’ve tried closing out of the app and reopening it, and that works sometimes. I like the activity ideas, although found many to be way too simple during the newborn weeks. The videos could also use updating. I do enjoy the on demand video lessons, as a first time mom I find those super helpful sometimes. Overall, a solid 2 star app when it works.

    I read the description for the app and it gave me the impression there would be some free features. Every single thing I click it brings up the offer to get premium. Can’t find any free features. Plus, there is sneaky design when you first download. The first screen that loads has no X or exit button, the only option is to subscribe. Even the “restore purchase” “terms” and “privacy policy” were not clickable for me. Eventually after closing / reopening / waiting it loaded the actual app. But yeah, no free features. And I’m already broke enough 👻

    He usado la aplicación de Kinedu desde que me enteré que estaba embarazada y le he sacado mucho provecho, ofrece charlas/clases acerca de muchos temas de mi interés, como que esperar en el primer trimestre, el crecimiento semana a semana de mi bebé, actividades que favorecen la estimulación temprana, entre otros. Agradezco a la persona que me la recomendó, es una buenisima aplicación.

    Its sad to see that parents are being taken advantage of. especially new parents who are looking for the advice and tips. Charging them 80$ for advice that could benefit a child seems kinda 😬

  • Looks like a cash grab

    I loved the idea of an app that basically taught you some activities that would enrich a child’s development in fun and exciting ways. However this app is starting to feel like a cash grab. You need to have the premium subscription for literally everything. There are podcasts, videos of activities ideas, and even little music classes. But everything literally is locked out unless you have the subscription. this means that you have to pay to try ANY of their content. I would be more inclined to buy the music classes (or any of the other live feeds they do) if the podcasts were free. Or even some of the activities videos that are out there for a DIY lava lamp, or make your own slime. If I can use those, and find I like them, I’d be more inclined to pay for the rest of the app. But since the entire app is closed, you’re basically asking people to pay for this content because “trust me bro” and it’s like $12 a month or you have to buy a yearly subscription for $60. I can’t justify that level of purchase on something I’m mostly gambling on. And to boot, they’re don’t even offer a free 7 day trial or anything to test out the app. The app *looks* promising, but looks are often deceiving and I can’t say anything about any of its features because I’m not gambling $60 on their app for a year.

    Just in case your wondering like me this app does cost money and it’s not cheap. You have to sign up with your email before they will show you the cost for using the app and then you will be stuck with permanent email spam from them. I’m sure this is a really good app but it would be nice if they were upfront when it comes to the cost.
