They tell you qualify for a bunch of settlements to get you to pay for a subscription. Once you pay for the subscription you don’t qualify for the ones they said you would or they don’t exist. SCAM.

Complete waste of money. Basically a search engine for claims that doesn’t actually make the process any easier.

This app far underperforms the promises of functionality that it makes. All it does is *sometimes* give you links to external sites where you can apply for settlements. Nothing is actually done in the app - it is basically just a search engine. Also, upon trying out a subscription (the only way to use the app), it was clearly outlined that billing occurred monthly. I ended up cancelling the subscription pretty immediately after realizing the app was overhyped, and several days later I was billed for the entire cost of the year. I am VERY disappointed with every part of my experience with Settlemate.

I have tried and tried but I can’t get past the “stay updated with notifications” screen. No matter what I do. Went to their site to submit the issue and the page goes to a 404. A few of their pages go to a 404.

Asked me to pay even though there are free websites/apps that do the same thing

You can’t get past to view any settlements without paying for a month or year subscription.

No trial period. You can't even see if it works before you pay.
  • No free trial, Costs $12 per month, gives scam vibe

You answer a couple broad questions about some accounts or purchases you’ve had, then the app gives you a very optimistic estimate, mine was $5,000+. Then they ask you to rate the app even though literally all you did was sign up and then answer like 5 questions. Then it brings you to their subscription fees, there is no free option or trial. I would avoid, maybe look on ClaimDepot instead.

Found settlements for Temu and other stuff I use and the UI is great. It would be very neat if the search was improved a bit so that it’s easier to search through all the settlements but otherwise great app

The app won’t let me get past “There are billions of dollars in class action settlements waiting to be claimed” screen. I can “unlock everything” or cliff bars but nothing happens.
