Description

Tatami is a casual puzzle game where you fill the board with boxes of the specified size. If you like thinky games like Shikaku, Picross, or Sudoku, but wish for shorter pick-up-and-play levels, you’ll love Tatami. Things start simple, but as soon as you get comfortable the game gets a little trickier and a little weirder. And then some more! But it stays a kind game: there are no timers or scores, and you can skip any level with no penalty. And the levels never end! There are enough high quality, procedurally generated boards to last you a lifetime. On the road to infinity, there are over 100 special handcrafted levels full of surprises. And maybe there’s a super secret, super tricky challenge hidden somewhere; I’m not at liberty to say. The first two hundred levels are free, and the rest can be unlocked with a single in-app purchase. The same purchase allows you to customize the game with themes and cute alternative icons. Your progress is synced and dark mode is supported, so you can play anywhere, anytime, on the most convenient device. And obviously: no ads, no tracking, no data collection, no account required, no dark patterns. Just a honestly fun game to keep you company when you need a little break. This game was made with love and patience. I hope you’ll enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it. – Kaylee Terms & Conditions: https://kaylees.site/terms-and-conditions.html

A fun batch of visual logic puzzles. I’m really enjoying it so far. Went ahead and purchased the customizations and puzzles, definitely worth it.

This game immediately had me hooked. Easy to pick up and understand, with some little complexities that get mixed in as you move through each level. It’s exactly what I want out of a mobile game - extremely bite sized with just enough to keep you constantly engaged. Can already see myself obsessing over this.

Tatami is right up there in the pantheon with Monument Valley and Trainyard (peace be upon her) for me. This game is absolutely exquisite — I've been playing it since the very start of the beta, and I'm still coming back to it multiple times a day. I can't say enough good things about it. Thank you, Kaylee!
