I used to love this app. It’s super insightful in all of its modes and I especially appreciated the medical links in the conceive and pregnancy modes. Now- everything of value is hidden behind a paywall. Unless I pay a subscription fee, this app is no better than marking a calendar and doing a google search. It’s a real shame.

Every time I’ve gotten pregnant, I only ever needed to use Clue to track ovulation. Didn’t need to track temperature or anything. It’s simple and easy to use. I recommend it to all my friends who are trying to conceive.
  • Please add additional options in settings

App works well, but after being forced to update to the current build, as someone who is extra sensitive to info overload, I have to lower the score for all the extra banners added to the front page. They distract from the key information I’m looking for and are anywhere from bothersome to anxiety-increasing depending on the day and my mental state. Would love to see a setting added to turn off animations for the “How do you feel today” banner, as the animations are especially distracting, for a tool I don’t plan to use. Also options to permanently turn off the top banners for tracking things certain users have no need/desire to use (medication, pregnancy, etc.) rather than them being delayed by a few weeks/months would be greatly appreciated!

The constant pop ups asking you to upgrade are sooooo annoying i need to find another tracking app
  • Was forced to update, things stopped being free

App wouldn't work without an update, now the analysis that was initially free requires an upgrade and payment :/ I've been using this app for 9 years and considering switching over
  • Inaccessible and useless due to “required” update

Today I opened the app to a message that an update is required, no way to dismiss the message and when I go to the App Store there is no update available. Makes an app I used to use frequently into something completely worthless. Dear app developers: never make an update so “required” that I can’t use the previous version of the app on an older device. Some people aren’t rich enough to buy new devices, and older devices can’t run the latest OS. Give us the option to keep using the old version!!

While the app is very useful, having a popup begging me to upgrade every time I try to do anything is so incredibly annoying. I know it costs money to run the app, but do you really think going to convince people to pay for it? No. If anything, it's just going to make them delete it and use a different one. If someone wants to upgrade, they'll do it on their own. An obnoxious popup is so unnecessary... As another suggestion, I wish there was a way to block banners and such that ask if you're trying to conceive. As a lesbian who has no intentions of ever being pregnant, it would be nice to have the option to not see things that only apply to straight women.

Clue has the nerve to market itself as empowering—while locking critical health information behind a paywall. This isn’t just disappointing, it’s harmful. People using this app are often already overwhelmed, confused, or dealing with pain and medical gaslighting. And instead of offering support, Clue withholds insights unless you pay. Reproductive health should never be treated like a luxury. Access to body literacy is a right, not a privilege. Gatekeeping that knowledge—especially from women, AFAB people, and folks managing complex health issues—is a betrayal of the very community Clue claims to support. This isn’t empowerment. It’s exploitation dressed up in a pastel interface.
