Game is heavily luck based with a pay to compete model due to power creep of new sets. The priority to win matches is as followed: Luck > Access to new set > Game knowledge.
  • Fixed battles / Gold is insanely expensive

Doesn’t make any sense how my opponent seems to always draw EXACTLY what they need back to back to back. You’re telling me, out of all 20 cards in their deck, all 3 of their evolution cards and Trainers to spare are all just magically in their hand? My opponent never fails to Start with Pokeball and Prof Oak. Every single time. I know this is all in an effort to get you to rage quit and go buy “Powerful Cards” pitiful.
  • This game is all I wanted

The battling system in this game just ruins the whole experience: you can get the best of cards but it doesn’t matter! The attacks rely on coin flips that you NEVER get! The odds are truly atrocious and the battling is so predictable. Because you know you won’t get the flips that you strategize for to defeat the enemy. Because you literally only get heads (which attacks or does any type of status effects) 1/20 times. Not even exaggerating.
  • Everything you’ve ever wanted in a pokemon card game.

The game is easy to learn and gets you started off really fast by letting you open a lot of packs at the start. You don’t have to pay for anything you don’t want to and can even make friends trade and battle with the cards you get. Super fun experience for me collecting cards and would highly recommend this to any person who loves Pokémon.

I have done most of the expert battles and everything beneath and spent everything on packs. The rates are atrocious. They tell you what you can and cant trade or delete, and youll get duplicates of the one rare art you did get so many times before you get anything else.
