The recipes are good but the calorie allocation is worst. The quantity of food is very little to restrict calories. E.g I am making a pizza and can only eat one bite per the meal plan.
  • Not for Meal Planning

This was reasonably priced so I though I’d try it doe meal planning. Asked for easy recipes for all three meals, breakfast recommendation was salad recipes. I mean, it’s easy but not really breakfast. Lunch o Sadi I needed packable recipes, that also didn’t happen. Overall, nice design but the AI doesn’t so what it should.

I am trying to finish signing up for the app and whenever I get through to the diet preferences nothing shows up on my screen and freezes there! I am super excited to start using the app however I just spent the last 25 minutes restarting everything to see if it would work this time that I tried again. Is there a way to fix this issue or what do I do? I don’t want to start off the app on the wrong foot as I am super eager to give it a good try and review !

The calories stayed for the meals aren’t right. Example: a serving size of 2 oz of pasta is close to, if not actually being, 200 calories. So how can a dish that calls for more than 2 oz of pasta, plus shrimp and other ingredients, working out to be 109 calories? Some of the recipes are just for cooking a piece of meat. So it’s gonna be a few hundred calories for making that meat and THEN I have to come up with what sides I want to add…and make sure they are reasonable so the meal doesn’t fly through the roof on calories. I was under the impression that it was going to be an actual MEAL plan. Also the ai meal plan for the week, which I was excited for, is ridiculous. Went over my calories every day. And why is pretty much every breakfast a full blown dinner recipe? I like the recipe ideas and it’s convenient to add ingredients to a grocery list but that’s about all I could use this app for because I have to do my own breakdown and calculations since I can’t trust what they say. This is not saving me time or making things easier. The ai is way off, not even able to stick to the settings I put in place for preferences. I honestly wish I didn’t get this now…

I was interested in this app for meals and meal prepping they offered me a 7 day free trial , and when I noticed I had to pay for certain meal ingredients and meal ideas I canceled my subscription the same day .. When I checked my bank account they charged me $33 . Well $32 and change . I’ve been trying to get my money back still a week later . Apple won’t help and they don’t response to emails it seems BEWARE OF THIS APP ‼️

eatr made meal planning enjoyable, not stressful. before, i relied on takeout because i had no structure. now, the app suggests meals, builds my grocery list, and helps me track my intake with the ai scanner. it’s easy to use, and i love how it customizes suggestions based on my preferences. cooking has gone from being a chore to something i actually enjoy. if you need a better way to manage your meals, this app will change your life.

From my experience, this app doesn’t really tailor to what you need. You can filter through the ingredients and show you meals using those ingredients sure, but when creating meal plans the app keeps generating the same exact meal plan with no variety, despite changing the priorities in the settings. On top of that, I am constantly getting daily meal plans that dont even reach half of the daily calorie intake and in some cases get meals (lunch and dinner) that only tally up to 150 calories combined. Lastly, you can give the A.I special notes but I have never seen it take the notes into account. In short, this app is terrible for meal planning.

i struggled to stay consistent with meal prep. i’d start off strong but always fall off track. eatr has kept me accountable with structured meal plans and easy-to-follow recipes. the grocery list tool helps me stay organized, and the ai scanner ensures i stay within my goals. i finally feel in control of my diet, and it’s all thanks to this app. i don’t think i could of done it without this app!
