I really enjoy using the app but I wish it would connect to my fitness app so I can see what calories I have burned off from my workouts
  • Love it, although some features are missing.

Howdy, I hope this reaches the developer. 1. I’d like if there was a way to reclassify a meal for a snack or a dessert as there doesn’t seem to be a way to correct the entry without delete, puke, take another picture and classify correctly. 2. In the weights, when eating out, sometimes I can see the total weight on the menu. I wish there was a total weight entry and it would adjust the individual ingredient values to match the total - very helpful. 3. Stretch goal - if there was a way to export data for custom analysis, that would be slick. All in all great app!
  • Calories are nowhere near correct

Not a single thing I tested today had anywhere near correct calories. I mean the package say 120 calories and the app said 954!
  • Cute but doesn’t feel accurate.

I keep changing to imperial from metric and it doesn’t stay. The measurements also are not accurate so I have to go in and edit them anyway.
  • Very Innacurate

Cute app idea. I do really well with gamified tracking, but the execution of this is just not there. Every single thing I input I had to edit (which kinda defeats the purpose of hassle-free tracking), and you can only edit certain macros (carbs, fat, protein, and calories). If you want to track anything else accurately, you can’t. I was really disappointed and cancelled my 7-day free trial after the 1st day.
  • Love, but want more pet features

Love this, but I honestly wish there was more to do with the pet raccoon! I also have Finch and I absolutely love the outfits, designing the room, and going on adventures. I feel my motivation would skyrocket if BitePal had these features too!
  • Needs to be better

Yes it scans your meal. But all it gave me was the total calories. It didn’t give me the nutritional breakdown like how much protein or carbs were in it which is the most important part to me. And it didn’t give me an option to put it in myself either. Don’t waste your time. Get a real tracker
  • Steals your money

I subscribed and did not like the app and attempted to deactivate my account and unsubscribe several times over several weeks without any success! The email they provided to the App Store is invalid, they have no website you can access, and when I contacted them directly on instagram they never responded. They have no actual way to unsubscribe to the app and refuse to provide contact information to do so. They have continued to charge me for the app during my various attempts to reach out. It’s a scam to steal your money!

  • Premium Pushing to the MAX

Before I could even try the app I was given 3 prompts for premium. One was a 1 time offer. Within 2 hours of having the app installed, I’ve gotten 3 notifications telling me to buy premium. All literally before longing a single meal. Great idea and concert ruined by aggressive premium pushing.
