    The dubbed video that comes out makes me sound like I'm an old Arab person trying to speak English. It doesn't deliver at all what it promises. Removed it right away.

    The dubbing sync feature that they advertise is not an option in the app. It still renders your video in whatever language the original video was with a voice over of the target language. The conversation trabslation on the other hand takes about 10-25 seconds to translate, how am I supposed to have a decent conversation with that time in between? Thrashhhh. I paid for it so you do not have to. Google Translate is way better.

    They promise a "Free Look" period Did NOT get one. Charged me $9.99 for 1 week. Only translates like 10 seconds at a time so it's basically useless!

    It doesn’t change your voice into other languages like most of its adverts lead you to believe. It just over dubs it with a generic masculine or feminine voice.

    First, it promises a free 3 day trial and then a weekly subscription. But it went right to the weekly subscription and I didn’t get the free trial. I’m battling with Apple for a refund. Second, I tested a 5 second video, the app said 20-30 seconds to translate - I gave up after 5 minutes. I went back into the app 30 minutes later and it is still processing.

    You can’t test or try anything without buying it first. I bought it. It was not the quality as advertised. Lips didn’t match. Voice quality was bad. Submitted a refund and they denied me. Save your money. The app is horrible.

  • Disappointing Performance and Features After Purchase

    I had high hopes for SpeakAI, but unfortunately, it has not delivered on its promises. While the app translates reasonably well at times, it consistently fails in the partner section. You can speak for 30 seconds, wait for the translation, and… nothing happens. It just doesn’t work, period. The video feature is even more disappointing. I uploaded multiple videos expecting the app to modify my lips to match the translation, but it didn’t work at all. On top of that, trying to upload videos from YouTube links was a total failure—nothing ever processed or worked correctly. Given that I spent money on this app, these issues are unacceptable, and that’s why this is a one-star review. SpeakAI needs serious improvements to meet its advertised features.

    Love the concept. Unfortunately it doesn’t do as advertised at this time. the dubbing is not even close following your face and layers different voices overlapping. Thought at least the voice part would be useful but doesn’t allow over 4 secs even when you record 30. Hopefully improves but currently not very useful.
