Like other users reported, it takes me to a page after authorizing that says "redirecting" and never refreshes.

This was a great feature on Safari with Sonoma. However, once I updated both my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro, neither Safari browser will work. You can click until your hearts content and nothing happens.

I tried using this but it asks me to authorize and give the app access to my boards. When I click on it, it just takes me to a page that says "redirecting" and nothing happens. Also, this authorization allows the app to: See all your boards (including secret boards and group boards you join) See all your public Pins and comments See your secret boards See your secret Pins See your public data (including boards, following, profile etc.) Create new boards for you, and change your board settings Create new Pins for you Not sure I want it doing all of that anyway. I'm going to uninstall. I'll stick to using the feature in iOS that lets you save to Pinterest.

I went to install this and it keeps redirecting me and then nothing happens. There are also zero help articles addressing this issue.

Please, have a setting for this... I just want to share a page with Pinterest. Uninstalled. Absurd. PLEASE, make a macOS sharing extension, not this. Also, way overbranded having the "p" icon in an ultra-saturated deep red leering at me in the app bar.

For the last several years, there has been no browser extension for macOS Safari. Instead, I had to resort to a Javascript bookmarklet, which worked most of the time but not always. Finally, the folks at Pinterest have released a Safari extension that adds a button to easily pin the web page you're looking at. It seems to work well. One note: it seems that, as pointed out in the App Store description, you do have to grant the extension "Always Allow on Every Website" rights for it to successfully connect to your Pinterest account. When I tried using the setting to allow only selected websites and ask for others, the connection failed when it attempted to redirect back to the page from which I started. However, once the account connection is established, you can change the extension setting back to "For other websites: Ask" and it seems to work.
