Timeleft - Meet New People

I’ve done about 6 dinners now. Every single person I’ve met have been absolutely great, and we stayed in touch. I can’t imagine traveling and living abroad without the TimeLeft app.

I’ve had MULTIPLE UNSAFE EXPERIENCES at timeleft. I have messaged their support and reached out via email and instagram. THEY DONT CARE, THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO SAFETY INQUIRIES I looked into the team’s background and their CEO, Maxime Barbier, has a history of abusing women and has multiple sexual assault allegations. What is worse is he shows up to these events UNDERCOVER They keep deleting these reviews … such a shady company … they need to be exposed

I cannot get past the “what’s your name “ step. I keep getting an error message. Can tech assist me please? Thanks

This is a great app for getting out there, meeting new people and socializing. It’s not 100% guaranteed you’ll vibe with the other dinner participants though, so go into it with an open mind.

This is a great idea in theory, but the app isn’t ready for the general public. My partner and I have tried to use this app twice. The price point option is meaningless in a smaller city like Buffalo. We selected the $$ option our first round because they didn’t give any meaningful indication of what their price scale is. We were separately placed in restaurants that would on average require $40-50 for a drink and an entree. We figured maybe the pricing was higher than we thought, so we dropped our price point to $ and I was placed at a more appropriate price level, $25-35 for a drink and an entree, but my partner was once again placed at an expensive restaurant that requires $50-60! If there aren’t enough diners in your area, you will be placed according to the other peoples’ preferences, not your own. Once the restaurant is revealed, the app doesn’t give you an option to cancel without a penalty, even though the restaurant selected is way outside the selected price point. This app is not considerate of your financial selections. It would be better to acknowledge and provide the option to cancel if the restaurant selected is inappropriately expensive. I would still attend if the restaurant had a good reputation. Due to the lack of consideration for my preferences, I will be canceling my subscription.

If you are buying a ticket around midnight, there’s a bug in the app where you can have a ticket in your shopping cart, pay for it, and if the clock passes midnight during this process, you will not be given the ticket that you paid for. I lost $20 because of this.

For the subscription price, need to find restaurants and bars that validate parking or have free parking. App has some hiccups. Late notification of Resturant.

Truly enjoyed my first meeting/dinner with the group, great mix of venue, conversation, and energy. However, I felt it was weird the app tells you the nationality, like “oh here you’re having dinner with an Indian” seems weird… just allow people to naturally meet. Also, rating people seems weird. Yes/No should suffice on if you want to connect or not. I understand data analytical reasons but feels weird.
