There’s no way to filter people out on this app, which can lead to uncomfortable situations. Can we add some allowlist / blocklist filters for the country of origin?
  • Perfect app for meeting people

After about 5 dinners, I can confidently say I will be doing Timeleft for a while, it’s such a great way to connect with people, get out the house and your comfort zone and try new restaurants. I’m looking forward to participating in new cities when I travel

I wanted to try timeleft because I’ve just moved to a new city and don’t know very many people. I was paired at a table with entirely men in their 30s (I’m a 21 year old girl). They also completely ignored budget selections - I chose the cheapest option and some of the people at my table chose the most expensive one. The restaurant was out of my price range. Maybe works better for cities it’s more popular in. I think we were the only english speaking table in athens. But it’s a complete rip off… they should not pretend to be matching people if they don’t actually have enough customers to do it.

The idea is cool to just meet random strangers for dinner. The problem is they do a horrible job pairing you with other individuals. It’s almost as if they just use age only. No other criteria. I’ve met and my groups were no where near my speed. Not saying they weren’t nice, but I couldn’t make certain cultural jokes or references. I was always the only minority in the group and at one point it was just me and another guy and 4 women. If you can do a better job matching people I can see this being better.
  • AVOID

Do not buy any credit on the apple store. Timeleft will not accept. They will tell you to get a refund via apple, which will not work and buy it on the same app byt through them. Makes no sense. Customer service takes 5 days to respond and is of no help.

I fill in all of the beginning questions to log in as a new user, and when I get to my name, it tells me three is an error. Too frustrating.
  • It’s getting kinda silly

Great concept, questionable implementation: -Auto renews without authorization or notification. SHIFTY. -Messenger app needs to be tweaked, it doesn’t update cleanly and messages blink out. -Bar & Restaurant recommendations. I realize we’re in the New Economy, but this is sliding off the rails in Nashville. Bars and restaurants are not close to each other, even in busy downtown areas. YOU’RE ASKING PEOPLE TO DRINK AND RELOCATE ACROSS TOWN TO DRINK MORE, AND COVER THE COST OF PARKING TWICE. THINK ABOUT THAT. Bar recommendations are highly repetitive which suggests something very inappropriate id happening in Nashville. CLEAN IT UP, PLEASE.

The app is very glitchy and often puts out wrong info. It is very limited. The service is not what they advertise. For the over 50 crowd, there are no men! Every dinner I’ve been to is ALL WOMEN. Restaurants are too far away from where I live and many attendees drive further than me. They need to stop marketing and put some effort into fixing the problems.
