  • Quality Writing – Shocking Cost

    I can truly say the quality of the book I was in the process of reading was quite good. Possibly better than any of these type of apps that I’ve tried. My disappointment came when I realized it would possibly cost me $40 to read one book. Again, the story was engaging. I would equate it to a paperback novel in length, but $40 was far too much to invest in one book. I was not presented with any membership fee type option, which I would have considered. Just the option to continue to spend more to read further.

    Don’t get the monthly subscription - it isn’t an all you can read type of thing, but just about 3000ish coins and a small bonus a month. Chapters keep increasing in price randomly as you progress. I found it weird I had lost almost 100 a chapter when only in 156 out of an ongoing series with 650 chapters! Imagine how much it will be to finish. No, there are plenty of other stories out there. Just let it go and enjoy something else.

    This app is a scam. I got all these coins so I could read one book- “Mr King, I’m Not Divorcing You.” Chapters 1-20 are to this book, but chapters 21-47 are for a complete DIFFERENT book. SCAM!!!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!

    I got a subscription and have made it through 58 chapters of a 400+ chapter book. Each chapter is over 65 coins at this point. The only way this app could ever work is if people could buy the book. At this rate I believe this book would cost me 100’s of dollars as the chapters just get more and more expensive. I’m all for buying books at reasonable prices!!!! Just did the math and the book I’m reading will cost me $290 :/

    I started reading one of the books and paid 2.99 to see if I would like it. After a few chapters I ran out of points, so since I liked the book so far I thought I would pay the monthly fee of 19.99, expecting to be able to read this full book and many other books. But no, halfway through the first book I get stopped again asking for more money to support the writer, and I couldn’t continue reading! Don’t fall for my mistake. Don’t buy more points because you’ll be overpaying for mediocre books. It’s ridiculous.

    The app has great books with good storylines but the cost of reading books in this app is astronomical, it’s even cheaper to just by a book at the store and read it than to read a book in the app. They offer a $20 monthly subscription and you would think that it allows you to read any and all books unlimited but the subscription only gives you a certain amount of coins a month which most ppl will use them in a day or 2. The cost to read books in this app is not worth it. To the authors (if they get to read this) this app is doing a disservice to you, a lot of readers are loving your stories but are unable to finish them because of the scammer app.

    You will end up paying more money than the book is worth! One book alone cost over $65 to read and I didn’t even unlock the 20 plus other chapters! Support does not get back to you in a timely fashion. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Similar novels on Amazon that you can read unlimited with kindle unlimited! Way cheaper!

    You only get so far on a small amount of money to unlock the chapters. For $10, you get 1000 points and it takes about 90-120 points to unlock just a short chapter.
