Has been raining al day and the amount of rainfall reported by the app keeps going down instead of up! Definitely not worth the money!!

As a farmer this is my go to app for checking rainfall amounts on distant farms. It’s always extremely accurate when checked against physical gauges. Thank you for making it ad free. I hope it stays that way.

Every single feature of this app completely misses the mark. The gauge is way off, it’s not even close. The same applies to the forecast. The map feature, especially if you want to look ahead a day, is a complete waste. You can go a day at a time and just shows random images that don’t line up with the forecast. I unfortunately paid $30 for the year already and will be deleting this app. The weather app on my phone is leaps and bounds better than this. Don’t waste your money or time downloading this.

App is not working in iPad after IOS update 18.4.1. Nothing loads. Deleted and reloaded app to no avail. Love the app when it works.

Downloaded this app when our local source was “missing” data. It rained across our county for most of that day and night. RainDrop app showed zero rain for that period!! TV reports showed .10” to .67 inch throughout San Diego county. We watched it rain most of that day and night. RainDrop app still says 0.00” over that May 3 to May 4 period. Indeed it shows zero rain for over 31 days. Pretty useless.
  • Fairly accurate

I really do like this app. It gives great historical data and at least lets me know there's been rainfall on fields I may not have otherwise known. It rained in our area last night and a few of the gauges were spot on, while others were off by .15". That's why I'd call it "fairly accurate". If there was some way in the future to add a feature that one could input actual rainfall from a real rain gauge into the system to help with deviations, that would be awesome. Just an idea from a dumb farmer. No idea if that's even a possibility. If so, I'd easily rate this 5 stars!
  • Annoying-Date does not start at midnight

Raindrops date for rain tracking starts in the morning (not at midnight of the ACTUAL calendar date). For example, if my location gets rain at 3:00 am ET on May 1st, it’s recorded as getting rain on April 30th, because apparently RainDrop’s dates start and ends in the morning. Why is this? Just make the date be the date that starts and ends at midnight like the rest of the world please!
