  • Excellent Game But Graphics Tab

I played this game on the PlayStation and loved it. So far I played on the Mac and it looks pretty good and runs smoothly. However, I believe that the IPad version needs an update. Newer chips can definitely run the game at higher graphics. I suggest putting the “Graphics” tab for IPad users. Other than that, great port.

Since this is a Public Beta, not sure why we have a problem. Then again this iOS. Also I noticed the app download size is quite a bit smaller than either MacOS or Windows/Linux. What’s missing?

This game can be a hit or miss for people, this was a major hit for me since I always loved anything outside and ambient from the music to the wind. It’s just such a calming game to play. Storing is complex which I loved and the way they direct the story is beautiful in my opinion. If you love just wondering around and delivering packages like me get it! Do recommend getting a controller for this like the backbone though
  • A highly optimized Apple Silicon port

This is one of the best macOS ports I have played in quite some time. I was able to easily play the game on an m3 MacBook Air with great performance and didn’t even have to lower the settings unless I was trying to reduce how warm my computer got. Even then it still didn’t get extremely hot and everything ran smoothly.
  • Great Game, Solid on Mac but I’d avoid it if you’re on phone only.

Death Stranding is one of my favorite games I’ve 100%’d it on ps4 and my computer so I was happy to see it come to mac and ios. On my m1 mac air it runs well and is an acceptable experience for the game and on the surface the phone version seems fine too. But my iphone 16 pro has suffered from about 4 crashes so far and not even from extended play and an issue where the game gets stuck saving requiring a reboot and losing chunks of progress. I hope they can patch this out but considering it’s a niche port for limited hardware I can’t recommend the iPhone version as an acceptable way too play.
