I love the game, been on it for about a year now. Absolutely amazing. Only thing that I dislike is seeing all the monsters nearby. I’m disabled and mobility is quite an issue, it’s just a tease and a reminder, but I get it. 6/5 stars.

Game is amazing and everything about it is addicting and extremely entertaining and enjoyable. But I can’t recommend this game to anyone or play it myself. The fact that you have limited play time is insane. Niantic really needs to stop being so greedy with these games. I mean 5 healing potions a day just isn’t enough and to put only real world currency price tags on them is stupid and honestly just makes the game not fun when u get deep into the game where your gonna die a lot against the higher level monsters. Not fun to walk around just to turn back around cause you died from a 5 star monster.

I love the Monster Hunter series and was excited to play this, but have found that the hunts were not enjoyable. Pros: The game does an amazing job implementing the weapons of the MH series. Has many great monsters that you look forward to getting to face off with. Cons: The hunts are either so easy that you beat it in 5-15 seconds or so hard that the monsters 1-2 hit you as they dash all around, with little to no in between. You don’t have to deal with fails from fainting in the traditional sense, but is replaced by being able to use a potion even when downed; however, you only receive 5 potions per day (basically 5 partial revives per day).

The set up is similar to Pokémon go, I also enjoy the size and scale of the monsters being hunted. It’s a great game in my opinion.

I love this game. I’ve always loved games like Pokémon GO, they’re just fun to me. However, unlike Pokémon GO, this game doesn’t just warn you about playing while driving, it entirely restricts your gameplay if you’re moving too fast. The idea is to stop people from playing and driving, but in reality, this only hurts passengers. Even if you hit the “I am not a driver” prompt, your gameplay remains restricted. Drivers can just be jerks on the road, holding at a light longer than they should just to continue playing. But passengers have no control over whether or not they can play the game at all. Please, for the sake of everyone who plays this awesome game, change this. I’d rather the speed warning appear every 5 seconds and annoy me repeatedly than not be able to play at all, especially because, also unlike Pokémon GO, when you sit still, there’s no way for you to do anything, you have to just wait until a monster spawns on you. In Pokémon GO, there’s incense. In JW Alive, there’s scents. In MH Now, there’s nothing, no way of attracting monsters to you more often. I rarely walk anywhere because I don’t have the freedom and time to walk, so I’m always either unable to play because I’m sitting still and there’s nothing to do, or unable to play because I’m moving too fast even though I’m just a passenger 95% of the time.
