  • Good, but needs improvement

    I couldn’t stand Twitter anymore after all the changes and jumped ship to here, and I already like it a lot more. It is lacking in areas though, mostly on iPad, the app seems like it wasn’t worked on with that in mind, so it’s awkward to use. A bookmark bar and the ability to send images and gifs in DMs would be nice too. Other than that, it’s a good alternative to Twitter, even if it has less users.

    I really like using Bluesky so far, and, for me at least, it’s not as overwhelming as other social media apps. But for direct messages I think it’d be really nice to be able to send images and audio messages in DMs l

    an excellent app—far superior to that other similar platform. less hostile community and, because it actually exposes your content, you receive a lot of interactions on your posts. one request: PLEASE consider adding a private accounts feature. i have seen so many users requesting this as well, and it would really improve the apps general use. there are times when i just want to lurk and make posts only for a small select group of people, so having a private account would be amazing. aside from that, i 100% recommend this app to anybody.

    This apps launch several months ago was a bit rough, but since then they seem to have fixed pretty much all the issues. Great performance and no bugs so far. Great alternative to twitter!

    I’ve had a great experience with this app, and I feel much more comfortable here than on twitter, though I understand it may not overtake twitter, I still recommend you guys try this app out

    im assumings its only an iPad thing but i cannot find any settings or what but over all its a very great app it acts just like twitter without a billionaire dictator trying to steal my photos for slop. get this app if you miss twitter. its so much better i promise.

    The community is just small enough to have enough people and yet still feel like a close community (for now), I haven’t had any issues so far, haven’t seen any posts that are overly negative for no reason (, like a certain Site That Shall Not Be Named), and most of the bad reviews I see complaint about features not being there HAVE been added. My only issue is that the people you block from seeing your content is public to everyone, but that isn’t a major issue. I hope this continues to grow and hopefully overtakes the Site That Shall Not Be Named. (Bsky/Bluesky posts should be called “biscuits” or “bskyts”, it’s such a cute idea! There’s also “reheating a bskyt” instead of “retweeting a tweet”! ❤️)
