    As most people are saying, the app is actually awesome, solid lay out with easy to read army rules etc. the problem is GW. Why am I paying for an app on top of access to codex’s? It’s doubly frustrating because you aren’t able to check if an opponent is straight up lying about their army rules depending on what faction they play. AND, stand to lose access to your armies rules the moment the next codex releases. Please. Just do an up front monthly subscription for full rules. And release codexes as some fun art books. I’d totally buy those still.

    I’ve used, and paid for this app since its inception. It is tremendously improved from the early days. My main two things I would like to see addressed in the future is for the app at random times to stop reverting to the free version causing me to quit the app and restart. The second issue is there needs to be a roster modification or module for Crusade. Right now you cannot add notes or modify stats based on battle traits. A minor thing also would be having the legends units available for rosters. Syncing of rosters across devices would be optimal.

    Useless app for a money hungry company. Want to know the army your friend has to know their rules? Spend $$$. Did you buy our cards in print? They are out of date before shipping and don’t come with a code so spend more $$$. Useless app with a separate app paywall for more than one army list. Does that subscription unlock the rules for armies ? No. Terrible layout to go with it.

    I will ignore all the business model stuff..I am fine with it and I know others don't like it. But.. App constantly forgets I am a subscriber, have to force close and reopen to use paid features. Recent update killed the most useful part - exporting lists. Now just pastes a mangled java stack trace instead of lists. Critical piece of functionality for those of us that need to submit lists for tournament play.

    I am a new 40k player and think the app is an absolute bait and switch with the codex paywall. My understanding was getting the subscription would provide me access to my armies codex and data sheets as an alternative to purchasing the physical copies. If I did own the physical codex and data sheets I wouldn’t have subscribed and downloaded the app in the first place. Disgusting business practice in my opinion as it seems many people have been fooled by this double paywall.

    After paying hundreds for minis and books this app should be free. Typical GW greed. Bright side is I’m exploring a lot of new war gaming systems now!

  • Army builder should be free.

    If I bought the codex. I should be able to use the army builder option for that army for free. They’re trying to nickel and dime you with this app. Use it with any codexes you buy but absolutely do not subscribe until this issue is corrected.
