I have to agree with some others on this. The app. isn’t the greatest. It’s hard to scroll through all the pages. Biggest problem I found is I’m a collector of older cards. There aren’t any prices listed for anything except 2000’s and newer. Unless I’m looking in the wrong place. You are welcome for the $10 I donated.

Always at least two weeks behind the newsstand. Should just stick with eBay for your price guide.

App is fine but release date for digital can be three weeks after print version. Very dissatisfied with purchase. If you have Beckett online just stick with that.

Beckett Baseball is the insiders guide to baseball card collecting. The digital version not only gives you the complete issue found on the newsstand, but also an expanded price guide in the back portion. Now you can always check the prices of all the years of all the different company's card sets. Basically it is a must for the serious card collector. Great articles and a guide to contacting the major collectors for any of your card needs.
  • Worst app ever! Unless you want to be a month behind on all your collections value!

The new issue is available 2 weeks or more after it hits the book shelf! I rather pay $2 more an issue then buy cards that went down in value because I didn't know, do to basing it on the previous issue!
  • Keeps Closing

I love the Beckett magazine. Been a big card collector since I was a little kid. The app makes it easier and less space consuming then collecting the actual magazine. I give it 4 stars it's great but there is some room for improvement.

I hadn't purchased a Beckett in about 15 years but I am trying to get my 5 year old into the hobby. I looked in several stores trying to find a paper issue but they are almost nonexistent. So I figured I'd give the app a whirl...big mistake. There are a number of issues with this app: 1) Scrolling through the pages to find a year and set is tedious to say the least...especially on the small screen of a phone or tablet. There really needs to be tabs or an index that can take you right where you need to go. There are so many sets now that just going through one year can be a pain. 2) As mentioned previously, this format it not good for a price guide. The writing and numbers are horribly small. So small that when you zoom in you only see a tiny portion of the page. 3) The app freezes constantly! And by constantly I mean every 1 to 2 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. This is the last Beckett I buy digitally. Worst $8 I've spent in a long time.
