  • Great app for practicing card counting on the go

Very good app for practicing card counting while commuting and when you got a few minutes to spare. Just wish it would allow options for more than 1 hand to be played similar to the casino.
  • App is just okay, is abandonware

This app is useful but very unrefined. The card counting drill is helpful when you're doing things correctly, but when you make a mistake, you find out only after the cards dealt have been removed. So there's no way to learn immediately what you did wrong. Wish I knew this app hasn't been updated in 9 years, and that is unlikely to get better.
  • Not good

Not worth the money. They make you pay even after buying pro to access the card counting drills. Also, the “real world motions” sound like a good idea but are terrible in practice.
  • Too fast

Dealer sweeps cards away too fast. No time to total or count. For beginning players or those learning, there should be a way to slow this down until skills are developed. You can slow dealer speed but after cards are dealt they are swept away too fast!
  • Nothing fancy, works as intended

Will purchase the paid version once I feel I have played a perfect strategy
  • Dealer kept drawing after 17

Edit: The split aces thing is a rule, you get only one more card on each ace, unless you draw another ace and want to split again. So that was right. But I’m pretty sure the dealer is supposed to stand at 17 even if it has to count an A as an 11 to make it, and even if the house loses on a 17. The app did it again, and I think it glitches when it has more than one A in one hand. It isn’t sophisticated enough to count its aces as one 1 and one 11. Or maybe it’s another rule that I don’t know and the dealer has to count two aces as both 1’s. Old review: I’m new to blackjack, so maybe there’s an exception to the “dealer stands on 17” rule that I’m not familiar with, but I just split 4’s against a dealer’s 5, got something like 20&18, and the bottom card was an ace, dealer drew another ace, and I thought “17, cool, I win.” But the dealer drew two more cards. I was surprised and I didn’t even notice what cards they were, whether that was legal, or what. Again, I’m new. Maybe I just don’t understand the rules. Also, I second what another reviewer said about splitting aces. Shouldn’t we get to play that out further than just one more card? I don’t know that, either. Otherwise, a great app. One last thing. Deal could stand to be faster, and there should be a toggleable feature that explains basic rules each hand for rank beginners like me, instead of always moving on immediately to the next hand. Maybe that’s in the premium version. But even the free app is really good overall.

that the shuffle and dealing is random but I’m skeptical. The dealer, too often, has just the right card to beat me. It’s too often to be coincidence. I understand that winning is not the goal. However, if someone is learning the rules but still gets beat often (by the exact card necessary!) then that defeats the purpose. Other than that it is simple to use and effective for learning strategy. I recommend it.
  • Great.

I like learning new things and right away I learned stuff about Blackjack that I never even new existed like basic strategy. The app led me to their video which led me to buying the extras and then I got the paid version of the app because it’s honestly just entertaining and I’m learning alot and I’m learning it alot faster then I thought I would. I know I’ll never be a professional blackjack player and don’t really strive to be but this app made learning so fun I would not only recommend it to people who like Blackjack but also people who like strategy games. 5 stars all day and if I get good enough I’m paying to be a member.
