    I just downloaded this and I love the UI but I keep being redirected to adware… I’ve been trying to search for a solution and have found other users had the same issue as I did but no one had an answer as to how to stop it. It redirects me to my browser every few minutes and a fake antivirus website tells me I have a virus, then it opens a Walmart survey :/, I downloaded an adblocker but it didn’t do much besides tell me the site was risky and not to put my information in, how do I stop getting redirected?

    I first came to Tapas for free read Saturday once a month. I used to think this app was for the reader. Now….nothing has changed but I feel like I pay so much more lol wait just kidding something did change. The wait time between comics coming out extra long. And the posting cadence. I was just going to give feedback but that button doesn’t work.

    I love this app but i wish you would a bit of customization to the library section. If we can add a list “to read” or “currently reading” finished” instead of having all of the stories in one place it can get a but overwhelming

    I dunno if you have read Villains are Destined to Die but OH MY GOSH. All the comics are so fun to read. It is easy to download some chapters/episodes so you can read in a car, plane, etc! I personally, really love Tapas. They have a wide variety of manhwa and novels to choose from! I also am broke hehe. So I do quests for ink and it works! I love binge reading Villains are Destined to Die on Tapas. Thanks for reading my review by the way! :)

    Good app up until I couldn’t use it. Keeps saying network error even though I’m connected and using internet on other apps just fine. Haven’t been able to use it for 2 weeks. Even tried deleting and reinstalling

  • Good, but I'm disappointed with the offerwall

    Overall, I adore this app and it has a ton of nostalgia for me, since I used to use it a lot when I was a kid (Honestly I had no business reading half the stuff I did). However a few years ago I uninstalled it because I didn't read on it as often and my phone didn't have a lot of space. Now, I recently switched to Iphone and decided to redownload the app and for the most part, everything is good. Except the offerwall. I don't know if it's because I've been gone for a few years, or because I switched from Android to Apple, but instead of games and apps to try out like there used to be, they're replaced them with scammy products that cost actual money? The whole point of the offerwall was for people who didn't want to spend money to have a way to earn ink fairly quickly, and it's honestly sad that it was changed. Anyway, other than that it's a great app and the most webtoons/stories on it are pretty good and I still enjoy the overall experience.

    I really enjoy this app and love the comics that I can find on here. Very user friendly and easy to navigate. The only issue I have is with buying ink. More times then not I will occasionally get the 10 dollar ink offer and then be charged like 40 dollars. Doesn’t happen all the time but it did this morning. I did verify all other subscriptions or payments before I came to this conclusion but I did get overcharged from this app this morning. Overall good app but should maybe look into this.

    The all and comics are amazing my only issue is that all my free ink isn’t going through I’ve lost about 1,000 ink on it so just a heads up

  • Ink Missing, No reasonable support

    Tapas has had a glitch for a while now where ink (their currency) from ad offers says it is rewarded, but never shows up. I spent so much time submitting proof of what they required, only to have a tech support guy close out my case when I asked him to clarify something he'd asked for. I've never ever actually gotten help. This issue happens regularly. I just now tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, which was a huge mistake. It cleared out all my old support tickets, so I've completely lost my ability to get back any of the ink I was supposed to. Anyhow it's a glitchy paywall system, and their support tickets are an endless loop of them asking for verification, you provide it, they ask for it again and again, and then just eventually close out your ticket without helping. Even when you repeatedly provide everything they ask for. Use at your own risk.
