  • Great guide to the night sky

The ecliptic is clearly traced and even constellations that have not risen or are currently in sunlight are easily identified. The mythological notes also are enjoyable. It’s interesting to consider that for millennia people used the positions of known stars to determine their location. Now since our phones know their exact position, we can use them to name the stars.

This app used to work great, but now the precision is 90 degrees out of phase for the past several months.

Satellites, constellations, and so much more. After all these years, still my all time favorite app. Brilliant.
  • Recalibrate?

How do you recalibrate? It was working fine and then the past two days, it is totally off. I point at the moon and nothing and then I move to the left or right and it says that is the moon but I am nowhere near it. I even tried to delete the app and redownload.
