I am unable to use it because the ads won’t go away

Cannot remove Eds to use app

The app is great but the ads that pop up are a nuisance and cover the screen. What makes it worse is that the ads make it very difficult to move on by hiding the button to close the ad. This is very frustrating when attempting to figure out the tip inside of a dimly lit restaurant

Way too many adds! A bit annoying when you’re at a restaurant trying to figure tip with another part and you have to wait to by pass all the adds all the time.

Literally can’t use this app at all because of the ads. No way at all to exit to ads. Probably a data mining scam. Just google 20% of your bill at this point.

Trying to quickly use all while leaving restaurant and ads pop up with no way out—no ‘x’ and I’m standing there like a jerk making everyone wait bc I can’t do simple math. Yes, I understand apps and ads go together if you’re not paying but please, get rid of looooong ads. M’out

I’ve had this app for a few years and used it religiously. The last update made it almost unusable. Ads won’t go away and are super long. The attempt to push toward paid pushed me to delete the app. I was fine with the short ads before. Much better apps for free with more options so I guess it was a blessing as I wouldn’t have found the other apps after using this for so long.

This app used to be good, u could go in plug in my bill, get the tip and total amount based on percentage I wanted to tip. Even split the bill. It still does all those things but it’s had been infected by AD OVERLOAD. Seriously, you can’t use the thing without watching some video ad. You can’t close the ad right away, the developer made it so you had to have a horrible time-sucking experience before you could even get access to the primary reason you got the app: to calculate a tip. Even more, some advertisers chose a background color in their ad design that matches the “x” once the developer gives you the “x” ..so essentially it hides the “x” to close the ad…. forever. You are left with the desperation of randomly tapping in the empty spaces in the corners of the ad I hopes that the ad might close. That’s F’ed up. Absolutely horrible design, when I need my tip calculator I need to load and be useful right away, this …this isn’t it. So I am deleting this app and I have found one with no ads that’s just as simple to use.
