Description

The world’s No. 1 baby app! Understand why your baby cries more at certain times, isn't himself or herself and... what you can do to help. During our research, which began in 1971 with Jane Goodall and the chimpanzees in Tanzania, we discovered that babies are more prone to cry and to be clingy or cranky from time to time. This behavior was shown to be related to a leap in the baby's mental development. More specifically, babies go through 10 mental leaps in the first 20 months of their life. A leap may be tough, but it's a positive thing: it gives your baby the opportunity to learn something new. Use The Wonder Weeks app to: - See when a leap starts and ends thanks to a personalized leap schedule - Be automatically notified when a leap is about to start - Learn to recognize the leaps based on the various signals your baby gives - Discover the new skills your baby develops with each leap - Stimulate your baby's new skills with 77 playtime games - Keep track of your baby's development in your personal diary - Link the app to your partner's app to keep track of your baby's developments together - Share your experiences and ask questions in the forum - Watch fun and interesting videos about parenting - Complete fun polls and find out what other parents think about certain topics - Benefit from a baby monitor with 4G wireless connectivity, including interesting information about sleeping patterns. Our mission is to help parents gain confidence in the face of the greatest leap in life: having a baby. We take a candid look at parenting, shed light on all sides and are there for all parents. We can all help each other and learn from each other. Millions of parents before you have already followed, supported and stimulated the 10 leaps in the mental development of their babies. It's not a coincidence that we have been one of the best-selling baby apps worldwide for many years! Disclaimer: This app has been developed with utmost care. • The village comes home

It’s amazing and spot on. It has helped us take some of the mystery out of child rearing and behavior in this modern age. It’s like the village or close knit community of our not too distant past where there was always someone older and wider who knew what to expect.
  • Too expensive

So far I’m not really seeing much benefit to what I paid for. Wish I could get my money back. Just doesn’t seem worth it. It is good information to have but not sure what it’s telling me that articles online wouldn’t tell me for free.

I love the wonder weeks app! It has helped me to understand my baby at a deeper level and to help him reach his milestones with the games it suggests!
  • Helpful Tool for First Time Parents

This app is super helpful in helping us plan for how to best engage with our child and predict what to expect. I don’t think the timing is the most accurate in terms of when our baby’s phases start and stop, the app is off by a few days and sometimes a week, but otherwise it’s great. I love having activities ready for me so I don’t have to overthink what I can do with my baby to help her develop. It’s a great tool to help a first time parent have a general idea of what to expect
  • Inflexible but informative

There’s no flexibility as to when you, as a parent, notice the leap signals before the set-in-stone date that’s provided. It even says a week one way or the other off is possible, but it won’t let you adjust or change when the leap actually starts. That part is frustrating. Everything else is informative and thorough.

this app helped me understand my daughters different phases so much! it also helped me not get down on myself if she was acting out of sorts because most of the time she was just acting out in the fussy phase and it was all normal!
  • Not worth $5.99 - consider CDC free app

I don’t recommend this app for $5.99. Haven’t really found the baby follows “leaps” schedule - baby is just fussy when he wants to be lol so not sure I buy the science of this (you can google if you want to see opinions on it). The developmental information is good, but I recommend checking out CDC Milestones if you’re looking for a free app with developmental stages. It’s similar content and actually more robust as far as video content, eg videos of what your baby should be doing (plus includes activities and resources)
  • Not worth the money

I have not found this app to be very accurate or helpful unfortunately. I have gotten back on multiple times to try it again since I paid for it. But it has not been worth the money. I cannot find how my daughter fits into any of the developmental weeks— so unless she is some crazy anomaly…I don’t find it reliable. I hardly ever buy apps and unfortunately, this app has reminded me why I don’t. The only thing I have found helpful are some (not all) of the activities suggested to help your child during each developmental phase. Some seem just strange, but a select few have given me ideas of games or activities I could crate myself for my daughter.

I can’t rate this app, I paid to use it and had setup my email , was sent a code and attempted to use it & it didn’t work… I then tried to hit verify and yet that still didn’t work. Now I have to wait 3 days to hear back from support …
