Not only am I unable to access articles on the app, the facility of tech support is poor and not functioning. I would not recommend the app, and in would cancel my subscription.

I’ll get news elsewhere. Maybe I won’t see the same three articles for a week. Uninstalled

  • Not Bad

The app isn’t bad but doesn’t update soon enough. The FB account actually has more up to date local news posts. Bottom line it’s free and can’t complain.
  • Absolutely terrible

If I could give this app and newspaper 0 stars I would! In a town of 80,000 people the Sun-Star staff never even gets close to telling the real stories that happen in this city! Their sports section is non existent and they don't update any stories previously posted! I'm not sure why the sun star is still even a paper! Horrible horrible horrible. It's sad that we as a community put up with such garbage. Now they want to focus on national news? I can get that from way better sources. Step up and do some actual work.
  • Current format of online Sun Star

This APP appears to be useless, why do I only get yesterday's news? Nothing is posted up to date. Format is too cumbersome to be effective. Used to be easier to find articles. Thank
  • I love this!

I really like the new look of this app but even more, I appreciate the content. I like having a reliable place to find out local news plus get links to world, national and entertainment news. I don't live locally so it is great to have a place to find out what's happening in Merced and then get convenient links to the broader picture. I think you guys are doing a great job providing a needed service. Thanks for helping to keep us informed.

Looks great, would be nice if when a notification for a particular story is pressed, it goes to the given article. I would still like to see those changes but I'm upping my review because of all the other changes made to bring this app current. It's great!
  • Notification doesn't open article.

This app is pretty good. The one major complaint is that when I click on a notification I am taken to the home page, not the article referenced in the notification.
