Must unreliable app and bus system ever, beware! Esp. TARC in Louisville. Will tell you the bus is a minute away and then after that minute it tells you that you have to wait at least another hour for the next bus. Better hope that one even shows up! I’ve been left in the snow, or worse cold rain not knowing if I’ll make it home that night in time to rest for work early the next morning. This has forced me to walk home miles away countless times. Wasting $50 a month on a transportation system that I can’t even rely on. Makes me want to blow my brains out more than I already do.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve waiting over an hour and a half for the metro bus on more than 1 occasion and the app says the bus is running on schedule but it’s over an hour behind
  • Has become more unreliable

This app used to be great! It was an amazing resource! However lately it has been reporting buses coming to stops soon and the buses never comes! When I check on metro website there was never a bus scheduled for the time the app says. (Specifically have had this issues with the 38B bus) very disappointing and inconvenient on several occasions.

Thanks for saving me from a major update to SEPTA’s app in Philadelphia that eliminated every useful feature. Never going back even if they fix it because the Transit app is bomb. THANK YOU!
  • Great App! This app is wonderful.

It’s accurate and easy to use, lots of excellent resources within the app itself. So much easier to use and understand than the local bus lines site that is outdated, difficult to use and understand. I’m excited about this app, it makes getting around the city simple. It’s a good one and a great resource.

There was nothing wrong with the old Metro app. I don’t like this app because it’s not as easy to use as the old one was. It’s confusing and not always reliable.
  • Easy to use and live feed

This is a great way to track your ride around town. Live feed of where the bus is and estimate of arrival.
  • Good, but not always

I really like using the Transit app to get around. At home I use it for commuting to work primarily on the bus. In other cities it’s great that it also works and I don’t have to learn a new app. Just came back from a trip to NYC and was able to navigate there no problem. My frustration lies in a couple places. First, I would like an option to say I am on a bus/train if I forget to start it. Second, the app isn’t always accurate. When I select a route, the estimated time will jump and then I miss it. For instance, if the app says to leave in 10 minutes, and then when I’m leaving, the bus is already passed. That’s super frustrating. Overall, I like it, but not when I missed the bus.
