Used to work fine till update

5/13/25-it seems I have to get on here every few months to write a poor review about the loud and longer than necessary game ads. This does not encourage me to get any of these games. If anything it is annoying. The ads didn’t used to be so obnoxious. It is disappointing. Keeping this a one star until they get rid of those ads that are annoying 2/04/25-I am updating this a year later because I went a year without the loud, blaring ads that suddenly start playing when I am verifying my alarms and ready for bed. I don’t have a problem with the alarm app itself, and usually not the ads but here we are again with ads for games with loud noises. Very disappointing. 1/17/24-at this time I do not understand what is happening with this alarm app. So the loud, blasting ads have not been happening but now the App Store matching games are so long and the latest annoyance. BUT- something new after an update three days ago is now every night all of my alarms are toggled off. I didn’t do this. I have a few alarms set throughout the day and I have always checked to make sure they are on or update, turn off ones not needed etc. but I have never toggled all of them off every day unless I am on vacation and I am not currently on vacation. So they are toggling off by themselves? This is concerning as I use this daily. 1/10/24-now the App Store is putting ads for games in. And now they take a long time for them to run. They have a little time bar going across the bottom of the screen so you know how long the ad is. However this time lapse bar doesn’t start right when the ad does so it’s even longer. And I STILL have to hurry and turn down the volume because even though they have a muted button, the sound is still on. People are trying to sleep at this hour and blasting loud ads is a negative aspect of this app. I have used this for years and the ads were never like this. I don’t need to see a minute long ad for game apps I will never get. It is a downside of this alarm app. Keeping it at one star because of the loud, long ads. I didn’t used to mind the ads but they are getting ridiculous about it. 10/31/23-I could not find my original review. I have used this app for many years and have not minded the ads until now. They didn’t used to have loud, blaring music in them but now they do and it is very inconvenient to be setting the alarms every night only to get an ad blasting music and there is no way to X it out. So you have to let the whole ad play with the loud music going. I once reviewed about this same thing a couple of years ago and the developer sent an email saying they will fix this. Well they did for a while and now the loud, music ads are back. The music is not necessary and it is very disappointing that they are allowing this again.

This app is just not usable any longer. Ad, after ad, after ad. When you go to adjust one thing on your timer, an ad pops up. Go to turn off an alarm, or snooze, an ad. I’ve been using this app forever, and once I was forced to update, it has become an after thought. Time to move on from this once great app. Should be ashamed of themselves.

I want this app off my phone completely HOW DO I DO IT?

This app is tottaly garbage. Don’t learn the hard way like I dd, and pay for two years thinking there was just a bug making it not go off. It was no bug. It is the app deciding not to go off when you are needing them the most. They work in tandem with other apps communicating in a biased way. Leaving you caught asleep when you had a very important meeting to get ready for. If I could meet the developer I would smack him/her in the face for what they have caused me over the past two years. Save your hard earned money for an app that works with you; not against you! __ck you alarm clock!

Can’t start or stop an alarm without an advertisement.

This last update needs a fix… caused problems with calm app volume in the background, and sometimes a random alarm immediately when the app is opened.

I travel often for my job. I count on Alarm Clock HD app on my phone to ensure that I wake on time every morning!

It wakes me up every single morning

I was tired of trying to set my alarm and they would have pop ups constantly but what put me over the edge was one night at like 3 am with ZERO alarms set my alarm went off and nothing i could do would turn it off until i deleted the app. deleted is where itll stay. i now just use my regular alarm clock that is standard on iphones.
