I’ve had this app for years, but I’ve mostly used it as a digital option for the Bible when I needed to access a verse at church. However, this past year I made a goal to do the follow the one year chronological Bible reading plan, and so far I’ve read 50% of it and am on track to have read the whole Bible by December. This app makes it very easy, and I can switch to different version of the Bible (King James, NIV, etc.) and have access to maps and other interesting features, including the ability to customize the look. It also syncs between the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. I’m looking forward to following other Bible study plans in the app when I’m done with the chronological one.

I’ve been using Olive Tree since 2008 on many platform and it contains my study library of bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, and many more books. There is no better bible and study app than OT. It’s cost-effective and I just so refined and mature. There are more expensive apps out there which if you’re in seminary can add even more detailed specific information. But short of that, OT is the tool of choice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great app that links together many sources into one clean interface and enjoyable experience.

I love this app on my Mac and iPhone. But please, please, please, bring back the search in the top toolbar. I’ve really missed that feature

I absolutely love this app. My only complaint it can take far to long to get bugs fixed. I run a Mac system and I understand their system can be tough to work with; however we pay for many of the study materials. I have LOGOS as well and always use this even over that product, do to its friendly and easy to use system.

I've been using Olive Tree's Bible Study app for many years now and this review is long due. I can very confidently say the following: 1. Very clean and intutitive UI. (one of the best I've seen) 2. A very stable software. (never seen a bug or a crash ever!) 3. Compatible with many devices. (I have them on my phone, laptop, iPad, etc.) 4. Seamless continity between devices. (when highlighting or adding notes, it's immediately available on the app in other devices without any delay or breaks.) 4. Free books (bibles & commentaries) over the years. (this makes this app very affordable and available for anyone and everyone, but more importantly I have a collection of bibles to compare and study with) *All of this tells me that the developers of this app have a genuine intention of making the gospel available to people and yet holding themselves accountable for a quality outcome and not compromising on the aesthetics. **The ONLY reason I'm giving a 4 rating is to grab the attention of the developers. Because they have key functionality missing when compared to an app like YouVersion (great app but the UX/UI is painful). Churches today add sermon notes and share it with the congregation is a very presentable format for us to refer during and after the service and most churches including mine use YouVersion for it and I'm having to put up with that painful UI/UX. If only Olive Tree Bibel Study can add that feature, I'll be eternally grateful and shout from the roof top that Olive Tree is the best bible app on the planet!
