  • Timer and exercise totals

    Just changed to eliminate single timer for all exercises to one per set. Interface now crowded with pointless data. Exercise totals now give target amount before start, rather than add as exercise completed. Seriously? Seeing actual totals is much more insightful and useful. After using for 5+ years I’m looking for a better app.

    The app was perfect before this latest update. It messes up everything. My existing rest timers for example. The UI is now overly complicated. We didn’t ask for all these changes. The app was great.
  • Updates break everything

    This app is useless, the updates break everything. Syncs no longer function and now I have to enter passwords on phones and watches. Super cool guys. Great update!!

    Switching off this app, the app doesn’t work. It saves my workout without reps I entered. If I edit it and remove them it still keeps it. The whole point is to track your workouts - reps and weight. So now it’s useless. The timer for rest periods is intrusive and annoying now. (Not what’s making me switch)

    In a workout set, it forces you to "autocomplete" all excersizes not completed. Not everyone does all of the excersizes under a set all the time. Update does not represent that
  • Best Weight Training App

    Strong has been my favorite app for tracking mostly weight training workouts since I first tried it years ago. The UI and responsiveness is hands-down the smoothest of any similar app. Everything I want it to do, it can do. And the Apple Watch version has become my go-to. I usually leave my phone in my locker and just use the watch during my workout, then review and update things in the iPhone app.

    They completely destroyed the UI, leaving me in the gym tinkering with the apps and now just using my phones timer for rest. Must be designed by those who spend 0 time in the gym. Deleting after my subscription period is over if they don’t fix it ASAP.
  • More options please

    Please add an option to turn off the auto filling of sets before the have started. It’s annoying and distracting. Also please add back the recent exercises when changing exercises during the workout. These two “improvements” have drastically reduced my opinion of the app. This was a 5 star app before these changes were made recently
