    Don’t waste your money! Eharmony, like other dating sites, is full of scammers. They do a terrible job of filtering the fake profiles so you’ll basically be doing their job for them. I’m a current subscriber and I’m dreading spending my money. The real scammers are the people running the site. They will take your money and they will not refund it. Don’t get suckered like I did.

    I tried to use eharmony for over 9 months with very few interactions. Then I began receiving numerous “likes” from accounts. None of the accounts were actual real people or people wanting to connect. In every instance I would receive notice from eharmony that the account had been blocked and removed. I would then receive more likes from accounts that had nearly identical profile attributes and distances with 1 photo. None of them would ever reply and eventually would disappear or be removed from my timeline. After contacting eharmony customer service (which is a oxymoron) they would do nothing to solve the problem. They just took my money and laughed. They do not care that their website is used for nefarious purposes. It is a complete scam and waste of money. Go use Hinge or Bumble. At least their sites are legitimate.

    So I decided to finally join this site because it was supposed to be the better dating site. It doesn’t allow for 1 month membership which is something I like because in a month you should be able to meet someone or you just get reruns on the same profiles. This was a 6 month commitment but I say heck why not. Now I live in New York, my radius is 25 miles, why are the only profiles they show me in New Jersey or Long Island? Tell me there are no in NYC? On top of that the majority of the profiles on here are BOTS or fake profiles. So paying all this money for fake profiles and slim pickings. The app is not user friendly as well. Please your self a favor and avoid this app at all costs. Not worth it

    I thought there would be way less fake profiles on here then the free ones but I was wrong. There are more fake profiles on here than I’ve seen on any of the other apps. I’m really upset that I paid to try and be scammed. It would be nice if there was a way to filter out the free profiles so I only saw profiles from people who paid for this app. I’m out will never waste money like this again.

    Beware. Every time I start a conversation with someone for some miraculous reason their profile gets blocked for violating terms and conditions. I created a fake account to check and I sent a like back and fourth. On my account it said that my created account was blocked for violating terms and conditions but my fake account was normal NO PROBLEMS. So I give up. Didn’t even do anything to have my account treated like this. EHARMONY WHATS GOING ON. Just trying to find my forever friend and yall are preventing that.

    No different than any other dating app. Probably no better than a money hungry politician. They promise you the world, you take the bait and end up getting screwed. Paid for the membership, took the quizzes and everything they wanted, uploaded photos (half of which didn’t get approved bc it’s ridiculous) and their “matches” don’t even line up for what you’re looking for. “Adjust your preferences” they say. Yeah, no different that time around. You send out likes, messages and get nothing. No visitors to your page, no likes, no messages. What a complete waste of time and money. I’ll give it until the end of the month. If nothing changes (probably won’t) then getting my money back. After reading the other reviews, I’ll send it to my attorney to get it done faster.

    Nothing but a scammer or scammers trying to get money from you. Any profile that sends a like ends up being blocked for violating the terms of service.

  • Deceptive and overpriced

    This site is deceptive and overpriced. They won’t tell you how much it cost until you get in and fill out all the information. Then, once they think you’re fantasizing about your partner to be, if you want to actually connect with them, you are going to pay at least $400 up front. This tactic felt extremely manipulative. They don’t have a monthly option. And, I can only imagine having to sift through all the inaccessible profiles of people aren’t really members because they don’t want to shell out $400 so they can write you a letter or see your pictures.

    Firstly, the minimum premium subscription timeframe available is one full year. Their website says they have a six month option but that’s not true. And a 12 month subscription is quite expensive. Secondly, it seems roughly half of the profiles are fake. There are good people here, just few and far between. I’m very disappointed with it and would not recommend using eHarmony.
