Great app for people who struggle with food disorders or just struggling with mental health issues and need to regulate emotions. It is nice that you could share with your counselor if you have one.

I’ve tried a lot of things to punish myself into weight loss. This app is such a fresh take. I’m learning to honor my body, become more aware of what I’m eating along with my thoughts & emotions at the moment, and I’m discovering tools to help me not binge or restrict. Thank you!

I am a longtime user of RR, though when I started working with a new outpatient team a year ago, they preferred I send an exported report of each week’s intake instead of logging in the clinician side of things and scrolling through. I love RR and everything it offers, and I really love the photo sharing aspect, because it makes logging easier. However, I’ve had to move to another app that provides the functions I need and ALSO provides an ability to export a PDF of the day/week/whatever time period for download, so I can then send it to my dietitian and therapist. This one feature has kept me from using RR for a year, and while I like the alternative I found, I would love to be able to come back to this app–I just don’t see how that’s gonna happen without the ability to export logs to download.

Really helps to bring attention to your thoughts and habits when managing ED. Still on the road to recovery but this is helping for sure

This app was recommended by my therapist, and I couldn’t be happier. It allows us to communicate outside of therapy hours, (a message or review of logs goes a long way!). The alerts to eat and the place to share thoughts and measure progress; it has been immensely helpful in my Recovery from Anorexia.

This is an amazing app. i received a provisional diagnosis a while ago and decided to stop counting calories and actually fix my problem. I was recommended this app by a professional- i’m glad.

This app is so helpful! I absolutely love the accountability it provides as well as encouragement. Thank you so much for developing this app. I don’t say it lightly as I haven’t been able to have even two good days with my ED in so long. It’s been two days now of feeling brave enough to face my giant. Thank you again. If you’re reading this and contemplating using this app please try it. I think you’ll also find hope with it.

I used this for a while without connecting a clinician, just to see what it would be like, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much RR has to offer—esp. considering it’s free. I can easily log meals, set goals, write notes, set med reminders, chat with my clinicians, listen to guided meditations/rain sounds, track my progress, and personalize my recovery and even pair up with other users for support or just fly solo. Sounds a bit like a generic review maybe, but for someone who was recently diagnosed and had no idea where to start, this was a breath of relief. Fitness apps were proving to be counterproductive and with this one I can get feedback from my therapists and log meals with less anxiety and even on my worst days it’s still a step in the right direction. I would recommend it to anyone struggling with disordered eating or an eating disorder.
  • Horrific UI

Comprehensive and robust app but the user interface is horrible. If they had a user committee with some input and revamp this app could be that much more powerful and valuable.
